I'm gonna put it bluntly for those who are saying there is no discussion value:

Quit being jerks. If you think the post has no discussion value, then why post? Go post on something where you think has discussion value and move on. Don't raise your post count by flaming and spamming. If someone wants to talk about the Wallie Cards and how they're helping Jagex to expand their business, by all means go ahead. But if you're gonna come post on this topic just to say "NO DISCUSSION VALUE, BAN OP PLEASE," then you need go somewhere else and post something more meaningful. Your post alone does not contribute to any sort of discussion at all.

And now I'm gonna go on topic.

Wallie Cards being available in Sweden may not seem like a big deal for some of us (particularly to those who don't have a clue about what they are), but to those there it makes it that much more convenient to get members. It is a big deal because Jagex is continuing to make their membership more purchasable in different countries.

So, what are they? Like gift cards?

They're pre-paid cards you use to purchase things on-line without having your personal information sent.

I don't think they're being jerks, simply put this piece of news really isn't one of the hottest topics right now. Change the word 'Sweden' to another country, and we can have the update for one of the next few weeks, then make the same posts about how Jagex is doing a great job expanding their market, again?

Even on the homepage I see 2 7-Eleven icons. :|

It still has discussion value. When gift cards were released for the US, everyone was saying how great they were. Just because it's Sweden doesn't mean it's of any less importance.

Of course it's important, maybe it'll come to my country one day as well.

But importance doesn't equate to discussion value, especially when every Tip.Iter can tell its importance. \'

Meh, I'm probably disappointed by the fact that we aren't having While Guthix Sleeps Part II, or any game update/improvement news, for the FIRST headline of the month of July.

I wonder if Jagex planned this peice of news for this week only because they knew they weren't going to have anything else. :o
