July 3, 200917 yr I usually don't get sunburned, just get a bit of a nice tan. On the odd occasion that I do get sunburned I just put on some babylotion, but I don't get ... 'white people' tan (aka skin peeling), my skin just stings. 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!
July 3, 200917 yr The scourge of summer is undoubtedly the midge (pronounced mid-gee). Anyone who lives in or has been to Scotland will know what I'm talking about. You might get tiny biting flies where you live, but not like ours. They're unbearable. I have to agree with that. Midges drive me mad every summer, they're intolerable. He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
July 3, 200917 yr New Zealand is s really bad country to be in for sunburn... Sunscreen does the trick usually. Its annoying to put on though.... But forget to wear in while playing cricket for almost the whole daytime.... I've learnt that lesson.... Doomy edit: I like sheep
July 3, 200917 yr I've had a damn good farmer's tan for 2 months now ;) I tan very easily, and rugby had me outside a lot. Some people are jealous of it (All girls  ). Now I think I've reached my limit as far as a tan goes on my arms and neck, just have to get a tan on the rest of my body. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
July 3, 200917 yr I've never had a problem with sunburn but its hayfever that pisses me off, seems to get worse every year as well.

You might get tiny biting flies where you live, but not like ours. They're unbearable. Sounds a lot like the ones we have up north in Sweden called knott, their bites hurt like hell. Looks like knotts are smaller than midges, but they make up for it by being known to kill horses and cows.
July 3, 200917 yr There is no scourge of summer here. A lot of my friends get burnt but I just tan so the sun doesn't bother me - and not much for annoying bugs around here... May the presents of our lord and savior, Santa, be with you this holiday season!First annual Clausmas - 2009 December 25
July 3, 200917 yr I don't go outside enough to really worry about it. When I do go out, I usually end up in some building somewhere anyway. Steam | Soup | Last.fm
July 3, 200917 yr Any time of the year you can get sunburnt here. :| I'm rarely outside, always in some kind of building.
July 4, 200917 yr The scourge of summer is undoubtedly the midge (pronounced mid-gee). Anyone who lives in or has been to Scotland will know what I'm talking about. You might get tiny biting flies where you live, but not like ours. They're unbearable. The horseflies on my grandmother's farm bite chunks out of me, it's really disgusting. Ever since I learned the potential threat behind sun burns and skin cancer, I made sure I wore sunscreen when I knew I'd be outside all day. 2/4 of my uncles have skin cancer, so I'm definitely prone to it. The only downside to healthy skin is that I cannot peel off layers of it and toss them at my friends anymore  I live right next to a river, it attracts so many bugs, insects and a few billion midges, you give up wiping them off your arms and legs after a few days. I've had my sunburn already this summer, hopefully i won't get anymore, but i am going biking for a few hours tomorrow  Want to be my friend? July 7, 200916 yr Sunscreen. Hate to just say "this", but it's really true. We have the means to protect ourselves, and if you can't be bothered then you can enjoy the consequences. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
July 8, 200916 yr Not sure if it really works, but i put Noxzima cream on the sunburn when i shower and then rinse it off. It still hurts after, but it might help it get better faster. Or maybe it just mentally makes me feel better, but it helps for me. 8-)
