Is ANYONE happy about this update? I'll be surprised if it isn't changed. But knowing Jagex it'll take a month, and by then everything will have crashed completely.

All i can say is i see alot of the players who wanted to fix 26king so badly are now the same ones that are again whining. This update is really good for people you acutally pk on pvp worlds now everyone really is risking items while they are there no worries about skulling everyones skulled. The only down side to this update is Smite can only be used to drain prayer to stop players from praying not much much other reason to use it. I always hated keeping track of prayer now i really have no reason to worrie about it... Haha again to all the whiners out there..

 

 

 

The thing is, this does barely anything to stop 26kers/76kers, the only people it will really effect are the pkers, who, now being much less of them with good gear, will probably make it even easier to 76k haha.

Sorry to hear about your AGS. In all honesty though, I'm happy about the update. No more 1 itemers or kids in 50k worth of gear and an AGS waiting to pile you as soon as you get a kill.

 

 

 

I hope you can get your AGS sold. I'm betting this is a temporary fix though, until they can find a way to fix the 76k trick permanently.

Toast, from what I've heard you barely profit from it now, added in is everyone attacking you before you can find a spot to sit and raise EP. I don't midn though as taking advantage of the flawed system isn't something I took part in. I'm interested to see some real pking once I get home and can go on RS, though. :thumbsup:

People were (not sure about right this second) selling for 100% junk or saying "selling AGS 101 gp".

Lol doesn't change much for me. When I Pked with tank gear/veracs/best items I didn't even have pro item on....with tons of brews, sharks, a tele, and staying fairly close to a bank I never was close to dying.....I just rushed people and it was fun lol.

 

 

 

but i dont really plan to use a whip and rune/standard welfare gear to pk unless I'm willing to be out a good amount.....whips are probably gonna go down a lot

You can tell the degree of panic when you see people in W2 trading things for pure junk, AGS still has its uses although PvP met its target audience just hover real close the the bank!! \

Could somebody explain to me why Smite is still in the game? Whats the point

They didn't secretly nerf drops or do anything else. I just bolted and tricked, made 4.1m. Seems like the drops are better :XD:

its job wasnt only to lower the points so protect item doesnt work, its there for the protect prayer to be knocked off, or the Str, defence and attack bonus'
