Seraphi
I no longer produce tanks, and have a rather small airforce/navy. I also harvest materials and most energy myself, so I don't think I'm going too overboard with my drones, considering 4/5 of all my military factories are dedicated solely to producing and weaponising them. I'm gearing up for war, should one occur and spill into Aether. I don't like biological warfare, either :| Ross how much do each of your A-2 suits cost? I'm not selling them individually, I'm selling the designs, since I no longer have too much use for my very old designs. I have also decided to show where I got the idea for my Icarus drones, just to show people how awesome they look. I'm sure one of you has played a Zone of the enders game, right? [hide="Raptor"/Icarus drone from a Z.O.E game][/hide] I am also setting up 20 more production lines(4 factories) for these, and hope to have numbers up to 16 million in 5-6 years. Wisp
My people on Jupiter hunger for human flesh. Bummer. And I think Russia, Germany, and I are mainly considered superpowers because together we control about 60% of the world's land, and atleast that much of it's gdp. I don't know though. Nero
Latino's ship has finished construction, however some corners were cut in production due to the small cost (100b compared to Brazil's 300b), so the ship can only support 15,000, and can only travel as far as Mars and back. However, since I assume that would be what you wanted it for Latino, I don't think it should be a problem. And to Rpg: I've already expressed interest in the TeraVenger program, so Germania has allocated $200b in funds to the project. My space station will be complete in 3 years or so, and it could be constructed there. The 3 small vessels I sent slingshotting around the sun have completed their tests. They reached the maximum speed they could, and held together for 2 hours (much longer then expected). The data from the tests shows that slingshoting around a planet, while fast, does not break any sort of physics barrier and enable FTL travel. Germania has sent 3 other ships to find a black hole, to travel through it while transmitting the ship's internal status every millisecond, so that in the event that a black hole is traversable by some insane probability, the data should be received before the ship disappears. Project Cleanup is coming along nicely, and a number of derelict satellites and space junk has been cleared from the atmosphere above Germania. Full cleanup should be complete in 2 years, at which point we will move over Russian land and cleanup the junk there. Guest
The warships that I mentioned earlier are finished. Each ship produces next to no noise, can reach speeds of up to 110 km/h, and are equip with torpedos, machine gun turrets and anti-aircraft cannons. Factories are being set up to manufacture these. Starting next year, we can produce about 10 a year. We've begin to recruit an army. Burma's population is currently at 61 million. We have recruited roughly 800,000 so far, from ages 19-45. Training will begin in 6 months, and finish a year after that. We've modified the masks that allow you to breathe underwater to act as a gas mask if needed, in preperation of biological warfare. We're currently working on a new assualt rifle, expected to be finished in 1 years time. Details will be released later. We've begin working on new tanks and fighter jets, as well as bombers. Expected to be done within 1-2 years. A new stealth submarine is also underway. Details to be released later, will be done in 2 years time. Wisp
Here's an update on the empire itself: In order to help ease overpopulation in urban areas, we are experimenting in underground habitats. The habitat will be built over the next few years, and should house up to 100,000 people. The land above it will be used for growing food, and there will be several underground fields with artificial lighting, so it will be fully self sustaining should it be needed. We are also working on enhancing the use of high speed monorail type trains, in order to reduce the amount of energy we need. Tens of thousands of miles of rails are being built all over the empire, starting with the Americas. Should the underground habitat be successful, we plan to use much of the land in the former US for such habitats, and allow the land about the habitats to be a nature preserve. Currently in the Brazilian US the only rebuilt cities are coastal cities along the eastern coast. In Mexico there are many smaller towns, but no major cities as of yet. We are planning on opening our first public fusion reactor, it should provide power for the majority of the country that it's in. Any waste produced by it will be shipped into space, and put into a decaying orbit around the sun. Border Security is being tightened in Africa, as in the Americas it is a non problem, but we are getting a lot of illegal immigrants. We are putting into place simple ways they can become citizens. Negotiations with a few more African countries are going well, and since almost all of their country's leaders are corrupt, they are easily bribed. The colony on Mars is going well, it now has 12 million people, and shipping to mars using our main ships has ceased, though there are some private shuttles going back and forth. We have declared most of our Antarctic land a nature preserve. That's all I can think of right now. EDIT: Stealth submarines are pretty much impossible, though most submarines are pretty much invisible to sonar or radar if they are not moving, and on the ocean's floor. Simply because there is a huge amount of water moved every time the submarine moves, and it's a giant hunk of metal that's underwater, and the way that planes are stealthed wouldn't work on submarines. I could be wrong though. Hegemony-Spain
Latinoking
Any update on Korea? Luxembourg would like to announce a new Haven project - the TerrAvenger! This will be a huge project for international benefit. It's going to be a space station more or less, but self sustaining. Kind of like the colony ship, only bigger. It gets sent up, we put some colonizers on it and we send it on it's merry way. maybe we'll hear back from it, maybe we won't. But think of the possibilities: Aliens? More habitable planets? New technology? Super human evolution? Opinions? I'm In. We continue our work with railguns. Do you want your old railgun you left in Egypt? ;) I sell! Wisp
Oh, I forgot to mention, we're also going to be starting designs on a type of floating city. Floating, as in on water. walka92
my deep-space ship's upgrades are nearly complete and will be dispatched with a colonising crew for the possible life supporting planet we found. the ship should be able to go roughly 50% LS and will take roughly 50 years to reach its target. it'll take a long time, i know. lol in other news, the russian satelite network has been completed. all of the comm satelites and all battle-capable satelites have been put into orbit and are in operation we are working on designing a new, and easier, way to get our things into space, because using rockets is beginning to get a tad expensive. we are thinking of planes that have been modified to take the low temperatures and low (or no) gravity. we dont know if this will work or how long it will take, but it is necessary if we wish to continue with out space research without sending the country broke the research on our humanoid asault drones is going well, and are currently working on the weaponry, as it is the main obstacle to overcome in this research I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come

Wisp
Walka, getting a plane into orbit is just as hard if not more so than getting a rocket into orbit. The way we deal with it is this: We harvest most of our resources from the asteroid belt, and we try to avoid sending things from earth into space, since earth's gravity is way higher than mars or any asteroid. Plus we have a space elevator nearly complete on Mars. (Well, me and Norway do.) Hegemony-Spain
