August 25, 200916 yr Do any clans still have the official war? I am of course referring to: 1. No returning 2. Last clan standing wins 3. The Edgeville greeting 4. Deep wilderness, f2p or p2p ______________ Obviously the PKRI is in vogue, but I have a personal attachment to official wars. Because asking members to fight for 3+ hours is just too much I think. People will disagree of course and that's the great part of the clan world. Variety. But, if your clan is prepared to do an official war, please post below. August 26, 200916 yr Sounds like one of those dying traditions that I wouldn't mind having. However full-out wars with no returning do happen, but they're done in the Clan Wars Arena more often since it's harder to police if it's not.

August 26, 200916 yr I really haven't seen a full out war in pvp in awhile. Last one I saw was Trwf vs some clan a couple weeks ago, before that I didn't see one in months.

August 27, 200916 yr We have had in the past, though certainly now we prefer pkri's. PKRI's can be endless :\ I'd prefer pkri's as well though as long as they aren't longer than 5 hours. But Old clan wars seemed way more epic - Larger opts and more respect.

August 28, 200916 yr I love official wars. Even in the CWA-era, Gladz have a completely different attitude when an official war is just around the corner. Our highest turnout before the RSD war was 53, but we pulled ~85 against our opponents and dominated (March 2008). We haven't had a war in an extremely long time and I'd love for another. Nowadays clans don't have respect for their enemies anymore, main reason I think the clan world of these days is really not as cool as it used to be. In times of DS & DI there was flaming between them, but also huge respect. I miss that now, its like most clans are lead by kids :(

Without large rivalries consuming the clan world, no one has an opportunity to fight each other enough for any respect (and also disrespect) to emerge. August 31, 200916 yr who has more r00n plz So true. It really saddens me that these days clans are all about the amount of rune sets that you have. However, I am surprised that I never heard of Official Wars. When did they uhm... phase out?
