Aeon_
Dang, Disney is taking over. They've recently bought Club Penguin as well. :o They made Club Penguin. :? Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.-Random Youtuber

RpgGamer
I doubt very much will change. Disney probably just wants the money it generates. That's what I thought when Google bought Youtube. How wrong I was... :( Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. XxTearGodxX
Marvel won't go downhill I don't think. DC is owned by Warner Brothers and they seem to be doing damn good at the moment.
PolarBearBlue
If anything it means marvel will have more money to make movies and can distrubute better. I mean Disney have a way with getting stuff out there. It's just that I'll only watch Pixar and Chibli Studio movies. Marvel and Disney made a smart move. Marvel needs some money. Disney can't make movies well any more. It's a win, win situation to me. Tim
The problem is with superhero movies is kids want to see them - Dark Knight was a Hard PG-13 and it did well - watchmen - a masterpiece - was a hard R and tanked - comic fanboys alone cannot support a flick for it to thrive. Outside of Punisher and blade - I cant think of a marvel property that needs to be R Well unless they combine the Square Enix Characters from Kingdom Hearts with Marvel and make either a Porno or a VERY gore-filled Movie, I shudder to think they'll ever make it past MA +15. Though with Disney's funding it will be interesting to see the outcome. Popoto.~<
PolarBearBlue
^ As long as Disney stays out of the way, that is. True. But Disney is lazy. They aren't going to get in the way of Marvel's movies a lot since they now are making film and have these idea with films we want to see. In all honestly, I believe Pixar is the new Disney. Toy Story 1 and 2= Lion King 1 and 2 (in terms that they were two good movies that has less than good but still better than most sequels). Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, etc. As long as Pixar does their job, Disney can market. Besides that I still want to see the Chilbi Studio new movie Ponyo. Miyazaki is the Walt Disney of Japan in my opinion. And even if they delete Disney characters in all then Kingdom Hearts can be a good movie (the game is actually a bit mature and deep outside the Disney element.)
