excl disapointed by "i really donno what to do so i did that" and that make him win out of 1k of vids? so what if he's famous, he had way better vids, this one is really unoriginal -.-

 

 

 

dancing vid do makes very much work to make, and people appreciate it, but the vid should have a point right? watching them for 10 secs is nice, 2 mins is kinda boring...

It's an very good video, but certainly not the best imo. Because basically, it's only one good joke.[/hide]

Linedancing was just pure epic. It really was. When I first watched it, I didn't think I'd be impressed, but I walked away very confident that the player that had made that movie took a *lot* of time and effort into making it. It was fantastic and was quickly an early favorite of mine.

 

 

 

I saw the others, they were good, some funny (especially the one with the big mouth & the RS TV), and then I saw Excl's. Made me laugh hard.

 

 

 

If I could vote twice I'd split the honors evenly between Excl and "Linedancing", but I wound up voting for Excl in the end.

A 7th vid has been added to their favorites. The Llama song.... I wonder if you can vote for that one too now.

Tough one, all were good in there own ways

 

Linedancing was not very comical and ultimately repetitive, even though it must have taken a lot of effort

 

Excl's was funny and had good voice acting

 

Bumbum's song wasn't really that original or interesting or funny and eventually grated my nerves

 

Mithril sword one by arrow gun 99 was very well edited and comical seeing as it was over a mithril sword

 

Gnarlie and the gaming factory was a great parody and the ending made it worth watching for the comic affect

 

Mommakitty2's started off not so good, but the number of snipes and parodies, as well as the pokemon theme at end made it very enjoyable, and it changed my mind about it.

Good luck to all though, and although i like mommakitty2's video, my money is on Excl to blow away the competition, for his fanbase, talent and being a Tifer \ :lol:

jinsr44 deserves to win, I have hard enough time doing the emote with one person but 10 or more is ridiculous. He also had the great bonus of having no actual people talking which to me makes a perfect runescape video

I agree, but if you have seen his Lord of the dance then it's not that much impressive, it's just the same but with a different song.

I liked the Gnarlie and the Gaming Factory one. The Oompa Loompas did it for me. :)

I voted for Excl's video. It's the only one out of those choices that made me laugh. Although, some of the videos that weren't choices I found much funnier & more entertaining.

Mommakitty2's video - Clever but poorly executed. Also she spelled yourself as urself - that's so unprofessional I actually laughed at the mistake. Also, most of the video was poorly edited and some parts seemed random just for the hell of it.

 

Excl's video - Finally one with good humor and good voice acting. Didn't vote for it though. Also, O Fortuna gives him bonus points.

 

Siamsa's video - It's pretty obvious this one took the most effort out of all of them to make. The timing and detail is stunning. I actually feel bad I didn't vote for it.

 

Arrow Gun 99's video - My favorite that I voted for. It's simple and had me laughing the entire video, even though the ending was a bit cliche. The editing wasn't perfect but much better than the other video's (well, except for Siamsa's).

 

Kkcomics's video - Most of the video was boring to watch, but the ending was pretty good. It made it worth the watch.

I really do think Excls video was good, It wasn't his best personally but like I mentioned in the other machinima topic it follows his style, right timing of jokes, voice work etc.

 

 

 

Yes he may have a larger fanbase but I think this contest will encourage video makers out there, next contest probably not video wise, so people who have aquired other skills will be called upon.

 

 

 

But I hope Excl enjoys his trip to Cambridge

I voted for Excl, and it seems a lot of others agree with me. He had many, different jokes, and tried to keep everything moving with a nice pace (not that he had a choice really, with the 2 min max and all, but anyway...). His voice acting was superb, and he satirized a couple of typical RS vids like pk- and grind videos. All in all a winning combination with good overall quality.

 

 

 

P.S. I must say the Riverdance video was really good too, with expert timing and editing. And due to constant changes in location and framechange it never became boring for me. It did miss out on jokes, story or dialogue for that matter, so Excl won my vote. Glad to see people thinking the same way.

" Youtube videos. Go around places, Varrock, Fally, Deep Wildy, all the different dungeons, etc.

I would love to see a "Concept - Competition" in which players do concept art pieces or script work and eventually their content makes it into the game, for the aspiring game designers out there this will be a great comp for them.

Excessive? Not at all. He may be a Tip.iter, but that changes nothing. We're voting on something from http://www.runescape.com, and it's something that'll possibly be someones only chance in a lifetime. And telling the truth about the videos is a part of entering into the competition. You enter you know you will receive both good and bad comments. I personally second whatLep1423 says in saying that "it sucked [wagon]...". I thought it was rubbish. :thumbdown:

 

 

 

And as another person above/behind said, we're voting on this video alone. Not their "previous works". Which seems to be the only reason Excl is going anywhere..As I said on the other topic, there really should have been two competitions. One for the big folks that already are famous for their video creating and one for those that don't. Meaning they too will get a real chance of possibly winning.
