ghost4sale1
If you look here http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/Willow_l ... 19&scale=2 The price of willow logs crashed due to the personalized shop update. Even though it still takes a while to get 99, now its much much cheaper. :wall: My signature got deleted :( And I lost all the links. Thanks Gandorf61. mister_moocky
You'd have to be really stupid to use willows for 99 firemaking. So it doesn't matter. quit

Low C
Considering willow logs are extremely slow compared to maples I would say no. But I bought up some willows just incase they rebound due to level chasers.

Dragonkng198
I don't think so, willows have always been a cheaper method to 99 firemaking, its just the money saved does not make up for the extra time used [hide=Stats] [/hide]
Albel
It is kinda easy, but its now a lot cheaper now. It just takes a lot of concertation to get is all. Capone_Sabre
You'd have to be really stupid to use willows for 99 firemaking. So it doesn't matter. Exactly. 99 with maples would cost you less than 4.5m and would save you somewhere in the region of 40-50 hours versus using willows. Willows wouldn't be a good choice even if they were free. I did 99 firemaking off willows. This was when willows were the price of mapels now and days. Youmu
It doesn't make it easier, it just makes it cheaper. Still, it is not efficient due to the amount of time to light all those willows compared to the maples. Krampell
I'd say no, because, who uses willow logs to train fm? You could just use maples and the time you save, make up for the cash you lost.
BiJay
Doesn't really change anything, anyone getting 99 fm still also go for 99 ruin-your-wrist-for-life... sad but true xD Not for everyone. (There are enough games which require the same ammount or even more mouse movements + keyboard keys.) On topic: Willows are still a waste of time and time is money. Some calculations: Willow cost 8 ea and maples 32 ea. You need 144k willows for 99 fm or 96k maples. Thats a cost of 1.15m for willows or 3.07m for maples. If you burn 1200 logs per hour it takes you 120 hours with willows to 99 or 80 hours with maples. So you save 1.92m but need 40 hours more. Thats 48k per hour and I think you can earn more than that per hour. (For 1000 logs per hour speed it's 40k per hour you need to earn.) [404] Signature not found. kingbrooks
as stated above, willows are inefficient, however 80% of players are thick and think "oh wow it's 2m cheaper must have". So theres now doubt they'll sell. Which is good I suppose as the willows were considered junk. And to your title, no it doesn't make it easier, just cheaper.
