stevepole
It's against Calgary. I was only in AZ for college so I never really jumped behind any of there sports team. If I have to say any team is my team I'd say the Canucks cause they're the closest to where I grew up in WA. Ironically though, I was reading an article recently and if this rumored sports arena gets built in Seattle, we could end up with the Coyotes so they really could be my home-team in due time lol. Faux
kings is a decent team but it's easily the most boring team in Cali. they don't let in a lot of goals but don't score much either. ducks and sharks have all the offense :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

And yeah, the coyotes could potentially move to Seattle. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
obfuscator
Way to go, leafs! What a great time to have your first four game losing streak since 2010! <_< "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
stevepole
So the Kings game ended up being a lot of fun besides them losing to Calgary. I was a bit disappointed there wasn't a fight and that it wasn't a higher scoring game due to the 30 shot attempts the Kings took, but what can you do. The kings have an awful offense this year... Glad you enjoyed it at any rate. Hamtaro
Great way for the Wings to get 23 home wins in a row. Though, the San Jose Earthquakes didn't look impressive at all today. The_Fray
Leafs hanging onto that playoff spot only because the Caps blow. I actually tuned into that game tonight and I was surprised at how bad they were. Definitely feeling a bit hopeful after watching that game. I think Peg might be a bigger threat at this point. obfuscator
Yeah. Kind of funny how just as the leafs decide to give other teams a chance, other teams (namely the caps) decide to suck. Still, if we don't win tonight against a tough NJ team we're definitely going to be out ASAP. obfuscator
I have a feeling this deadline will be really quiet, which will definitely be disappointing :(You know it's going to be bad when Tuomo Ruutu is the most highly-prized rental, and he re-signs before the deadline. At least Nash is on the block now which makes things interesting. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
fastortoise
Habs are breaking my heart... 14th spot in the East and a game up from the 15th team :( I don't even like watching the games anymore, this team is garbage. If it weren't for Plekanec and Georges I'd say there wasn't a single good player left on that team.

I also thought price has been stellar as always...one of my favorite goalies. Would kill to have him on the leafs.. But yes, the rest of the habs have been pretty underwhelming. I'm curious to see where their PK trends now that Gill is gone.. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
The_Fray
I still like Max Pac on the Habs, they need a complete rebuild, get rid of guys like AK46 (waive Gomez). Most importantly dump Gauthier and get a competent GM. If the team was going to be sellers, why would they pick up Kaberle's contract. I have no idea what Gauthier is doing with that team, it seems like there is no plan and it is so unclear which direction the team is headed. Habs could use a high pick in this draft though, someone like Grigorenko would be a perfect fit imo.
fastortoise
Patches is awesome, can't believe I forgot that dude :shame: Sure Plekky is statistically bad and doesn't help out much, but the man has the sickest breakaways at the most opportune moments which makes him the greatest in my eyes :^_^: Nobody on that team has charisma. We played an entire season (or two?) without a freaking captain. I haven't seen one interesting Habs player interviewed since Cammalleri, and we know what happened to him. Nobody has such insane talent that people can hover around. As Fray said, I personally have no idea where the team is headed. Hell, for once I'd side with the French and say get an entire French speaking team and see how that goes. Obviously I wouldn't be pointing out all these flaws if they weren't losing, but they are. And in a very boring, dull fashion. I mean, take into account who's writing this. A dude born and raised on hockey IN MONTREAL and I can't stand watching a game unless I have a steady supply of beer and friends.
obfuscator
Yeah, montreal lost all their speed, which used to make them so dangerous. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
Hamtaro
And the Wings' home win streak is snapped by Vancouver at 23. Both teams looked like serious contenders for the cup this year, though Vancouver's third goal came from a questionable icing call. Still not a bad outcome for being without Datsyuk, though. It seems the rangers are the front-runners at the moment (as usual lol). Leafs with yet another loss, and now out of the playoffs. At least Reimer was okay..
