Fair enough; there are indeed other methods for reaching the island, although I'm still hoping for something a little more conventional. ie a teleport that does not need to be bought through a minigame.

Nice idea, although it may detract too greatly from the current quick method of reaching the southern desert; the Pharaoh's Scepter. I'm in agreement with you that if you don't posses said scepter then it is an extremely long journey so it would be nice to see a Fairy Ring in or around the city.

 

What's the fastest way of reaching Rimmington currently? Skills Necklace? Cabbage teleport?

Just move your house there and use house tabs.

Use bulter or move your house back to yanille only when you decide to level up construction.

Yeah, but a fairy ring that we have to make ourselves displays as "Enchanted Land" and only says "Fairy Ring" when completed. So maybe with the release of FT3 we'll be getting more pre-made fairy rings in addition to these strange plots?

If it's a "teaser," that means there are more of them coming, right? Can I have a w00t or two then? Burgh de Rott fairy ring pl0x!

One can hope that the update includes the ability to "plant" one fairy ring at a time where ever you want one. Or in a fairy ring patch, but same idea. If anything would make me want to do ftp3, that would be it =D Although, it would take a farming level at or near spirit trees, and would require a big load of bittercaps.

 

If not that, then make all the new rings rings that you have finish before you use them.

House teleport. Second best is indeed a skill necklace to the crafting guild.

Where fairy ring would be nice those days:

1) south morytania (burght the rott, mortton, barrows...)

2) GWD?

3) rimmington

4) spirit realm places? (since it's impossible in original wildy, maybe on it's opposite realm it is)

5) elfs land (near the grenwalls would be great)

6) moss la harmless (walking from ectophial place to cave horrors is just way too long)

7) lunar isle OFC

Trouble Brewing rum is really cheap and teleports you directly there. You can get 60 rums' worth of prizes on average from one 20-minute game of Trouble Brewing.

We'd have to plant it by digging up an existing ring in the real Wilderness. :-P

Cockroach warriors drop them, but they are quite rare.

Best off farming them or waiting a while for the offer to complete in ge.
