They should be, was thinking about this earlier. I think we should say that each day is 240 days in game, so each hour is 10 days, each game day is 6 minutes.

Orders take X number of days to get around the world, so problems can spiral out of control pretty quick....though even as I am typing I think that this might make my life impossible....So

I will be taking the Serbian Federation on second thought. Navies have never really impressed me all that much.

I was actually listening to 1812 overture thinking about having that as my anthem.

I went though the full score of victory songs, Pomp and Circumstance, Star Spangled Banner, Overture 1812, ect. As well as Hell March, Dance Macarbe and a number of Sherlok Holmes track.

My first act when the game starts will be to seize all South-East Asian Islands. Don't say I didn't warn you. Anyways, is this game turn-based like Hegemony or fast-paced like Alpha Centauri. I hope it's turn based, it makes it much easier and doesn't force me to change parts of my schedule around.

 

So to reiterate, mainly if the game starts when I'm away, I move my troops in to seize South-East asian islands, or at least blockade em and prevent all sea travel in and out (maybe some air, if I blow em out of the sky)

So...where did the floating landmass near Canada go? It seems that either Sere claimed it (?) or it just disappeared...

 

The thing about equal population and income is that otherwise somebody can claim a big, wealthy country, and then that would force the small nations into an alliance to combat them. Sorta like the NWO. I think we also need to make sure that one person can't claim half of the world really quickly and increase their income by some huge amount.

 

I'm fine with different populations, as long as the income is roughly the same.

Ross' state(The purplish one) was created by the imperialists in the new United states of Britain who went East and tried to subjugate the Native Americans, but the Natives used some kind of magic(technology hidden in a temple) to lift the land out of...well the land. It is powered by hundreds of thousands of turbo jets(which cannot be researched) powered by oil reserves and probably some kind of Quark Fusion drive(which also cannot be researched)

 

 

The game is not starting for a long while yet, I would rather not have people explode because something isn't covered.

Since every country will be dealing with domestic issues for the first week or so it will be possible to build up your infrastructure. Also since there are 2/300 years of void space between alternate history start and now you have alot of time to play with.

Well, I think the airships will be able to plunder sailing ships as well. They just need to fly a little lower is all.

I think I'll start research on wind power. It should be pretty effective at that height.

Wind power, in mechanical form, is avalible right now, but for actual electric power it will take 35 years / 70 days.

Grimdeath has announced to me over PM that he has claimed the United States of Britain. I negotiated with him over the Pacific Islands, Retech. :) Instead of him being Indonesia and stuff, he chose to be the United States of Britain.
