This is what I meant when I wanted people not to massivly expand and force the smaller nations into a corner.

 

There needs to be a strict limit on expansionism.

EDIT: Don't worry Ross, I think all the land will be player controlled, and since we all start evenly then I don't think expansionists will be an issue.

But Doom, from what I've seen, Retech seems to want to colonise the entire asian continent. Or most of it, anyway. It's stuff like that which worries me.

Ross, I am after the islands in South-Asia, as my race is aquatic and can use those islands as support points. Anyways, I want Thailand because I was born in Thailand, and that's why I want to collect it.

Well I just want to make sure that people can gain land through war, and not through conquering random nations to gain extra manpower with very little trouble.

That's fair enough. We could put some natives for all countries not controlled by players.
