April 30, 200917 yr Wouldn't it be fun if someone just randomly decided to drop off their massive amounts Disk/Pumpkins/Easter in GE for lowest? I can't imagine how much the merchants would lose. :P They will crash, it's just a matter of time and when these merchants feel like partyhats are cheap enough to be bought out.
April 30, 200917 yr Elysian and divine will probably not hit 100m, and if they do, have fun waiting months for it. Not suprised by the crashes though because those 10% raises started happening fast. But I don't think they're all gonna go very low. They ARE some of the best shields in the game, and some of the rarest drops around. Heck, with a 30 man team all using melee and almost all maxed stats thats constantly corping in a full world (no pausing for banking or luring), it takes like 12-24 hours for a sigil drop. Consider the fact that not even close to that many are usually in a team killing. It's gonna be like 24-48 hours of constant corping for another team to get a sigil, and thats no breaks of sleep. Sigils are SUPER rare. And not only that, but shields are going to hold their value because they are not lendable. If they were lendable, a lot of the value would have been gone already, most likely. A lot more people would be using them. Then again, it might raise demand because it would show how much the shields do own. So idk whats gonna happen, but shields will remain expensive, I do know that. Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x. PvP drops: 359 Brawling Gloves, 11 Vesta's Longswords, 41+ Zaros/Ancient Statues9 Dragon Full Helms, 3 Dragonfire Shields on the old PvP loot system Brawler guide is being finished!

Also, do you all think that they'll stay low (ie. stay at GE price)? The worst thing that could possibly happen for me would be if they ever went up in street price again.

Lets look at it this way...... 3rd age: comes into the game at a steady rate and rises every so often everytime it rises demand drops because people won't pay that much for an outfit. Spirit shield: Very good for a shield slot, very rare drop but they come in at a steady rate also. They rise daily now and every rise some people can't afford it causing less demand. Partyhats: Expensive for a hat without bonues. There will never be anymore in the game and they leave the game daily from people quiting. They are goals for many people causing the demand. Sure when they get very expensive people won't want them as much but they are still a rare. If you were going to invest in something which would it be; a long term stable investment or a short term investment with a very unstable market? Last time I checked they were the best investment and I have kept my hat since it was 252M and I don't intend to say it. I am just stating partyhats in the end are going to win out on the thing to have. Something that is rare can only be rare for so long as shown by the turn out of dragon claws and spirit shields. Not to mention the fact that they are the best investment overtime and noone can denie that. I had bought it for max like a week before it, and found out I wasn't really fond of it + it "crashed". April 30, 200917 yr My Yellow Partyhat is in the G E (mid), but I'm not desperate to sell it. It was my biggest goal in my beginning days, and it's neat, but I'd like to use some of the high level equipment I haven't yet.

May 1, 200917 yr All items go up and down in price in the market. High costing items just waver a lot more. This will continue to happen. The same when GE first came out, a lot of money is to be made with them.
