Santas/H'weens seem to be on a small decline Purple is around 865Yellow 1040Green under 1250 don't keep track of the others alot. Traded Purple for 570 + mask set yesterday..sold set 308m. Nothing in the game that isn't discontinued should be worth maxed cash or even close to it. I see these items settling at around 500-700m per piece for Torva and slightly higher for Pernix, since it will probably end up with more demand because it's useful at Nex. At a 1:20 drop rate, with more people wearing the armor, and killing speed increasing the Zaros armor will not stand a chance at 500m a piece. I expect pernix/torva to be 150m-300m a piece. Maybe 600m for full pernix, 500 for Torva and 300 for the mage armor nobody wants. Sure a lot of people want it and its demand is sort of high, but the only real use for it is at Nex and pking. The way i see it too much people are trying to make short term money of rares and alot are ending up with rares they dont want... combined with the fact that theyre quite inflated in price rares should be going back down? Partyhats are probably safer but... will they also crash a few millions or hundred millions? Because say white for example went from 800-900-1b-1.1b...-maxed cash in large hops and steps. Saw a pernix body and chaps go for 1.4 as a set early today, however i'm hearing rumors that the chaps are about 400m in ge as of this post, this should give you some sense of how fast these are dropping. I'd wait another day or two and then jump on some. With the rate it's dropping, it'll probably get within ~100m of the GE prices and then start shooting back up as the merchants pounce on it. So if you have max cash, it'd be a great time to get some Pernix. It would help tremeondously with Nex and also be good for Corp (assuming you went with friends you could trust not to jack your [cabbage] if you died and couldn't make it back in time). I don't really think Torva is worth it. Nobody is gonna risk a set of items worth ~800m GE while PKing, and you can already effortlessly slaughter the other GWD bosses with good ol' Bandos. The only reason I could see getting some Torva is if you plan to solo Sara/Bandos. Torva would make for some epic Bandos Solos, but other than that I don't really see it being worth the buy costs nor the upkeep costs. Makes me sad I've never had over a 200m bank :sad: Oh well, hopefully my luck will turn around once I get a Yak and start doing some Nex with friends. Thanks in advance!pretty safe to say not a chance in hell unless there comes a better platebody nex's average hourly profits are already below 4m per person average, according to grimy, so it's not likely that prices will go much lower than they already have, considering other bosses are easier and make more money and better effigies, with much less variance and risk of being cheated by your teammates. Helm COULD be atleast reach ~150m but the platebody.....nah. 5-10 people can get 2-5 kills per trip depending on gear and the droprate for any item is about 1/25-1/30. 4 out of the 10 pieces are useless, so Torva/Pernix is really only one piece for quite a few trips of 5-10 experienced people. Right now the prices are so affordable because there are no buyers.In 1-2 weeks I think they will be HIGHER than they are now, simply because everyone is scared to put money into items falling in price. But the Nex hype has already died down. As much as we like to say there are a lot of high levels, the number of people with Overloads and the gear required for most teams (entailing a high Dungeoneering as well) is limiting. There are ample lootshare worlds available even in the middle of the day when Bandos, Corp, and TDs are packed. The number of new Nex drops is still limited. Spirit shields went up, Nex items went down. People paniced and stopped buying Torva/Pernix/Virtus because of the increased droprate=lower prices. Now that it's been a few days, the excitement is dying down, and prices SHOULD at the very least stabilize, or start to rise again.
