im hoping some chunk of xp reward, like u take all the xp from it then it causes the statue to reshatter so u have to collect agian, this isnt a miniquest its stated to be "replayable"

Um so I've been sitting in my house for 45 minutes after I got my first stone and here's my problem. After the worlds went back online I went straight to my house to do this but didn't know they appeared near the portal so I stood in my kitchen for no apparent reason for 20 minutes before giving up. If the stone appeared on the ground in those 20 minutes and it disappeared when I left would it be possible to get again?

If it's taking people as long as it's taking me to get the construction rock #2 then it could take days and cost thousands of lives...

So, do rocks show up in your inventory for most skills? Or are they all like construsction and appear on the ground? Because I have to study and cbb to stare at the screen the whole time.

It's actually somewhat difficult. I used up my ore supply on smithing and smelting and didn't even get one rock. All I have is both woodcutting rocks, construction, and mining so far.

That's the only thing you can do is nothing. You have to visit your house for at least one minute with building mode off. The stone appears at the portal though so that pretty much means sit near the portal until you die of boredom.

Also make sure you don't teleport strait into your house but come in through the portal to receive the rocks.

I teleported to mine and got the rocks. Btw I finally got the second one.... One hour after the first one. I think you have to leave and come back after the first one because I got the first one sat for 45 minutes then left for a herb run. I sat for another 10 minutes after the herb run and got the second rock.

I personally got them both within 5 minutes by going in and out once i got there then both showed up within 5 minutes.

I currently have 19 out of the 30 strange rocks. Will be sure to say what the "solid" reward is! :grin:

worth noting that if you mention needing to make a list to the man you start the miniquest with, you get a checklist of all the skills.

So what is the thing you get? Does it do anything?

Well that's not very exciting at all.

Yeah, now I have a blank statue, and I am NOT doing it again. I can't figure out what to do with the pieces lol. The museum people are now telling me to rebuild the statue because it is the "twin" of the original one UGH.

 

The first is the Statue Plithe and the second is a Replica Statue Piece.

It's kind of cool in that it's a nifty chunk of experience that you can get over and over again in various skills.

 

EDIT: I wonder if you get different replica parts of the statue the more times you complete it, the end reward being the completed statue for your POH. Maybe it has some sort of bonus.
