March 4, 201016 yr Maybe you have to build the statue 30 times in order to get all 30 replica pieces. >_> ... I hope not.
March 4, 201016 yr There is a piece of the statue for each of the non-combat skills mentioned above. Each one is made up of 2 strange rocks found while training. Once you have obtained a pair, you will receive no further strange rocks from that skill until you have collected the pieces from all other non-combat skills. Keep an eye out for new pieces; the first time the statue is rebuilt your Kudos with the museum's research team will increase. The exceptionally diligent may find themselves rewarded even further. Building it more than once must have a better reward... Click for my blog to Untrimmed Slayer Cape!! It's quite a journey!
March 4, 201016 yr Any idea what to do?Maybe you don't put pieces on the museum statue anymore, but on the one in your house?
March 4, 201016 yr Quite the mystery. I love it when Jagex does stuff like this. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
March 4, 201016 yr FML So you need to do this 30 times to build your own statue....30*30 is 900 stones lol! Click for my blog to Untrimmed Slayer Cape!! It's quite a journey!
March 4, 201016 yr ^ So you have to finish the minigame 30 times in order to finish the statue in your POH?If that's the case, then that statue better have some fat bonuses or be the most bad [wagon] thing ever.
March 4, 201016 yr Since rocks are not stackable in your bank, that's a lot of wasted bank space...i'd imagine you'd be able to put pairs of them on the base each time but still... this update is a trolljagex should just come out and tell us what the reward is, unless the reward really is massively awesome, which my gut doubts
March 4, 201016 yr Oh dear. I like the principle.... But I hate hunter. I refuse to get 30 hunter stones!!! >:(
March 4, 201016 yr The reward is .... a statue in your house. ;) Jack of all trades, master of thieving. 259th to 99 thieving. All stats 75+
March 4, 201016 yr Well I logged out since I'm tired of RS now. Some things I did: Crafted P ess one at a time by dropping and picking up.Mined P ess - got stones in less than one inventoryCrafted hardleather bodies so I didn't break the bankMade Energy pots because I didn't want to waste any good herbs The rest is self-explanatory exceptHunter was annoying. I got the first with falconry but then switched and got the second with red chins.Same with Smithing. Got the first with addy bolts, tried addy bars, but got the second right when I switched to steel bars.

For most players, myself included, i will gladly accept an extra 9k-15k or w/e it is i get for training something. This game just gives you more incentive to switch it up, say one day i do fishing, then the next i do agility, then the next i do herb, while you dont have to train for a specified amount of time i still get that sweet free exp, all the while just training a variety of skills in the way i normally would.
March 4, 201016 yr Where are people getting these absurd numbers from. To me it just looks as if you now have to repeat the building process for a second time inside your POH to complete your own statue. Then that statue may give some form of reward. Why you think you have to do it 30 times is beyond me as it has been said that you no longer do anything at the museum and build your own statue. I don't expect you to build it, then the museum man come, break it and give you another part of the statue. Want to be my friend? March 4, 201016 yr I just tested it with another pair of stones, and you get the same amount of XP all over again for adding the stones to the Varrock statue.
March 4, 201016 yr I don't expect you to build it, then the museum man come, break it and give you another part of the statue. That's what I assumed. If so is it only re-playable twice or do you just complete it infinitely inside your POH?

March 4, 201016 yr For what it's worth, the Replica Statue Piece's examine is: "An intricately carved replica statue piece" It has a Look At option which says, "This replica piece of the statue of Dahmaroc was created for you by the archaeologists of Varrock Museum."
March 4, 201016 yr I really hope you can repeat this mini game quest thing as many times as you like. I kind of like this.
