1_man_army
Coincidentally I was watching a program last week about earthquakes and it mentioned the fault line along Turkey. Basically, with the Turkish fault, the pressure builds along one point in the line then it gets released (ie. an earthquake) and then it progresses gradually along the line from one end to another. The point was that this is not typically how earthquakes and fault lines work but it might help scientists figure out an early warning system one day. That was according to the program, clearly they haven't made anything work yet. They also showed how at some point that fault line will inevitably cause an earthquake that has Istanbul as its epicentre (or near enough), which could result in a lot of deaths considering how built up it is. Edit - I think California is now overdue a big earthquake now as far as I remember. He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
TTanT
I extend my condolences to all inhabitants of Germany and Hungary in advance. The only difference between Hitler and the man next door who comes home and beats his kids every day is circumstance. The intent is the same-- to harm others.[hide=Tifers say the darndest things]I told her there was a secret method to doing it - and there is - but my once nimble and agile fingers were unable to perform because I was under the influence.I would laugh, not hate.
