We still have handful of gaming and comic book stores, but for anything but comics and RPG books, there's almost nowhere else to purchase a book.I kind of agree with that. I mean, I would like to see different book stores. But as long as I can still get my books I don't care that much. They're expensive (compare their prices to Amazon's, even in their online store), now posses what is essentially a monopoly, and have some of the least knowledgeable staff and the most unpleasant corporate hipster "culture" that I have ever encountered. He also happens to be a close friend, or else I wouldn't deal with him either. I just use the computer to locate what I want and then go look in the section it says. As for the price, I don't buy anything recent so most are $15 or less.

Also, I hate how bouncers disregard the safety of innocent bystanders when a bar fight breaks loose. I almost got run over by a seven foot ogre the other night, but thankfully he didn't pound me to death. The bartendress was asked to point out who broke the beer bottle on a man's face and she kinda pointed right between me and the perpetrator but the bouncer was nice enough to beat the [cabbage] out of the other dude, not nice enough to not shove me out of the way and into the bar.
