She spent a half hour swearing and pretending that she was a huge druggie. I have no idea why a girl would consider either an exceedingly attractive quality.

It wasn't directed at you or the last couple of posts, but it reminded me how sometimes people take definitions too seriously.

It also used to annoy me when I would have to sit through hour long assemblies at my last school and have my legs fall asleep on me (we had to sit cross legged on the floor sometimes). Then when I got up too quickly I would get dizzy AND my legs would collapse underneath me after losing all feeling in them.

Hard to explain, really, but I guess you could say is the point at which you look at when you're looking straight ahead, and at nothing at particular. In other words, I would be looking 45º down and consider that my default angle of view. Basically, if I thought of walking forward, I would technically have to walk as if the floor was a decreasing slope.

Calling someone "gay" or "f _ _" as a derogatory insult. I can come up with much more accurate, creative, and hurtful insults than that. Nowadays you can call anyone gay for any reason, to the level of nullifying the point of having an argument. It's just such a cop-out.

Seriously though, it's moronic to use gay or [bleep] as an insult. Not (only) because it's offensive, but it's so inaccurate.

I kind of agree with that. I mean, I would like to see different book stores. But as long as I can still get my books I don't care that much.
