I am a pure Sony fan but even I have to admit the 360 is a better sytem than the Ps3. However I know without a shadow of a doubt Sony will produce better games. So I am wondering which is better ; a great system, or great games?

Great gameplay so wait for a few months and get Nintendo Revolution :) :P

Considering a system isn't a system without it's games... the games of course, though that doesn't mean the system aspect of it should be nulled in a decision. Personally, I think they're being sold far enough apart to afford both.

Buy whatever system that'll have the games you'll enjoy.

360 = HighDef out of the box. Not to mention COD 2 as a opening game. But I think I'll pass for a PS3. I'm a Sony Fanboy :).

Killzone for PS2 ownd. As did a vast number of shooters. COD 1, MOH series, Mercineries (pwnage x5), Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (I rented it 2 times in a row before buying it), GTA series.

Xbox360 will have MMORPGs and a better online, eer thing (like Xbox Live), but the release games are mostly sequels and i think only 2 you cant get on the others.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nintendo have very little ports that are on other consoles (except the big companys like EA) and have a lot of good games (Mario, Zelda ect ect) im not too sure about that controller though, will have to wait and see what its like.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sony online ability, lots of good series(MGS, GTA, FF, GT) but that controller wouldnt look out of place in the Australian outback.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i will end up getting all 3 eventully, but if i could only get 1 i would chose the PS3

They just like to appeal to their customers. If by that being an advert, so be it. Ive always had a playstation and playstation 2 and I tried an xbox and I just hate it. The XBOX is more of an adult gaming system (the meaty controllers they have) and the ps2 an all age (its age varies from 0 to 18+) and i would rather wait another year to get my ps3 than get a, so far, defective (apparently) xbox 360.

revolution will be so to speak, a "novelty" it wont have many graphical improvements, but innovation-wise it will bring alot to gaming ... good thing yes.. but i hate gimmicks :P

That's no excuse. This is just another attention seeking thread in which nothing new or original is being said. If you want to know which console to buy, just try them all. It's not like people on an internet forum can generally tell you how a console/game will feel for you.
