For male characters, if you get dreadlocks, your in game avatar will have more complex eyes. Instead of of diamond shaped blackness, you have an almond shaped eye that is white with a roundish black pupil. Go check it out if you want, notice the next guy with dreads you see. I also have a picture here.

What I want to know is how does an unfinished modal accidently get released into the game? And for only one hair style? How would at any point something unfinished get uploaded into go into the game? It boggles the mind.

I hope the finished deally resembles chatheads more.

Actually, I wonder why they don't just use chathead models to begin with. They are full 3D models, not just flat, even if they're almost always shown from one side. It would, of course, be optional, seeing as how this much more detail would create a greater strain.

Yeah guys don't get your hopes up. We've still got months until this thing hits the game. Just pray there is no developers diary, or else this update will be another 8-12 months for release.

 

Intriguingly enough, something tells me somehow Jagex is going to ruin the economy with this update. I'm not quite sure how they are going to do it, but never underestimate their ability to fail.

Perhaps they'll decide to increase the price and alchemy of Eye Patches this time. It seems fitting.

Imo those look eww and waaaaaaay out of place on the character models.

I prefer what they are doing with the eyes now.

Anyways, I really like that they're improving the character models more. Ignoring the incomplete chin, the eyes are really good.

I was running around with nothing on my head yesterday and there were giant holes on my cheek bones that went all the way through my character, he looked possessed at times. It was kinda creepy. Hopefully they do something about that too.

To be honest, females need wider hips and more defined asses. Bigger breasts would be nice as well, although they need to be more defined. Right now, female avatars look a little odd.

 

Also, I want hair more similar to that of Rei Ayanami from NGE, especially considering that my RSN is Rei. Hmm.

 

Also, the eyes look a tad bit creepy. Sorry. I also hope they don't make the chins look anything like that if they did.... Everything about that future update looks odd.

I can only hope that the end product looks much different from this. It looks a tad scary to me, as it currently is.
