Not really sure what you call these, but I'd like some tutorials for text effects I guess? Like the little decorations people put around text and so to make it look nice.

On your question, no, except finding a larger source image of it. Because its a photo i dont think they took it in that small format so there should be a source image somewhere. And for IE7: Right click the image and select properties, and somewhere there should be an url like: http://www.google.nl/intl/nl_nl/images/logo.gif Copy that and put it in image tags.

The only way to resize it without making it pixelated is getting the original image and resizing it from there.

does anybody know a way of downsizing Gif image size?

Cut out frames, use the optimize for GIF plugin in GIMP, when you save (in GIMP) choose frame disposal where unspecified and make sure you index the colors and use as few as possible.

Anyone know the best compact camera to get at around £160ish?

Panasonic Lumix are great compacts.

Oh oh I have a Canon Powershot A720, it's really lame with the shakiness so I advise you to get a tripod if you're gonna take shots with a slow shutter speed.

I don't believe there is any problem, though I guess it is best to have maximum power, rechargeable batteries will degrade over time, just like normal batteries, so really it doesn't matter what you have.
