Im still trying to ger buies n revers engineering my numbers.

 

I've got:

m-(20+P)=8

45 - 5 = 40

X-(83+)=9

 

based on the nubmers i 100% sure on

Ok I've further reverse enginnered my numbers.

 

I'm certain there was 20 trees and 18 flowers; so there msut be 46 gems to create answer of 8

45 statues is confirmed by the fact there is 5 broken statues and outcome is 40

83 cabbage is definite, 41 swords seems to be right; which means 133 candles

Counting isnt hard, finding what Jagex deem worthy of a "living" tree or "gems on display" is.

Luckily I had a few hundred laying around... Throne of Misc FTW!

So im annoyed when I get home. Think "Lets enjoy some of the clue fest."

 

3 and a half hours later I find out the grid is wrong.

To top it off, no store sells uncut rubies and thanks to the double exp weekend, rubies dont buy in the ge.

They should have really tested that this actually works though rather than have people wasting time to try and solve something that was unsolvable because Jagex messed up yet again.

I imagine they'll have another clue fest at some point that, even if it doesn't add anything to the game they'll offer up the old items for those who missed them, so don't worry about it.

All 6 clue solutions have been posted on the first post, just in case you're struggling/lazy. :thumbup:

Right I'm fairly certain of my numbers now:

 

M: 46 Gems - Jagex said so on twitter

P: 18 Blue Flowers - I've like tripled checked

N: 19 - Must exclude the none-cuttable one that amde it 20, else equation fails

 

S: 5 Broken statues - Easily counted

Q: 45 Statues/armour suits - S proves this must be true to get outcome

 

Z: 83 Cabbages - One of the easy couns

Y: 41 Weapons - With the shield swords etc. I've tripled checked.

X: 132 Candles - Never quite landed on this with my counts, but it must be for sum to work.

Using uncut rubies was a horrible idea. I know it's hindsight, but I can't help but feel that it's extremely obvious hindsight.
