THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

I don't see how this would generate discussion.

Thats because you dont need to go to the wow website every time you play wow.

I guarantee if wow was a browser game it would leave runescape in the dust.

O.O

Proves that runescape characters are more powerful than nub WOW characters. Duh... Discuss?

[bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp

World of Warcraft has over 11.5 million subscribed players multiply 11 million by 15$ and you get 165,000,000 i belive a month but then they have the upkeep of everything else unless im wrong? Anyway since it just says "wow" I bet Blizzard has way more money then jagex.Star Craft, diablo, Warcraft, And their MMO Wow so all in all blizzard probly makes more then jagex. Unless Runescape=jagex and World Of Warcraft=Blizzard on the charts.

Isn't this page showing people search "runescape" more then they search "world of warcraft"?

Or am I missing something.

Well, i know for a fact that every time i play RS i search runescape in google.

I also know that in non-browser games (not nessesarily wow, i quit that ages ago), i don't go off googling that game.

People search runescape more, but that does not in any way infer that its more popular.

You are spot on.

Why do they search more? Because they can't find what they want on the official Jagex site, or Jagex' game resources are too cumbersome to use, or other reasons I suppose - but not necessarily because there is more interest in Runescape as a whole.

But wow... what a pretty graph.

I don't get it. Why can't these people learn to TYPE THE URL?

Seriously is it that hard to type in runescape.com in your website address?

(Unless they are looking for fansites, well that's reasonable. But they can just type tip.it for that. )

It's quicker to just type rs into the google toolbar, or if googles your home page into that.

Either way, regardless of popularity runescape would naturally have a higher ratio of searches to players because its a browser game, and yes, most people just google runescape (Plus it makes people like the OP feel better, so :D)

Thanks Gradeskip93 for my awesome sig!

That's because world of warcraft is designed for adault nerds living in their parents' cellar, playing 20 hours a day.

Runescape is designed for people with an average age of 15.

Currently there are more people aged around 15 than people living in their parents' cellar with 20 hours+ every day to spare.

Runescape ftw! Take that WOW.

Ctrl+L - R - Down - Enter. Don't even need the mouse. Dunno if it works in browsers other than Firefox though.

(what this does: Ctrl+L - select address bar, pressing R gives a list of visited URLs with R in them, RS is on top because it's the one I've visited the most, Down and Enter selects and goes to the page. )

RuneScape players are dumber than WoW players and thus have to look up everything.

I actually think this is pretty neat. I play both games, and what I find interesting about RS is the online community. For RS there are way more fansites, online guides, high quality websites, etc. For WoW people kind of just join a guild and interact only in a guild. They don't go to help sites, they just ask their guild. Stuff like that.

The biggest WoW websites are mostly for addons.
