Clanchat - Easy Assist

 

Due to the recent temporary closure of the 'Assist clan' clanchat, I have decided to launch another clanchat 'Easy Assist'. I am hoping that this clanchat can become a place that people are able to come to both help and be helped with effigies with little hassle.

 

I don't intend to enforce any rules on the clanchat other than those which apply to the rest of the game. Any ranked players on the channel are simply there to remove people who are spamming unrelated text.

 

If you would like to use and/or support, please do bump whenever possible This kind of channel can only work if people know about it. I am hoping that we can be a successful community service which is useful for everyone .

Yeah, new cc. Just thought I'd let everyone know since I know personally a lot of people have been hurt by all the stupid crap Assist clan keeps doing.

I don't use assist ccs, but I'm sure they just moved the CC to - Assistclan (no spaces)

I hated, and subsequently got banned from, assist clan due to their uber-harsh and strict ranks and rules, because I offered to trade a guy who needed a 97 smith assist for him to help me with my 97 con one.

I was told off for "asking for payment for an assist." Plus I was only allowed to ask for one assist at a time, which, considering I had 26 starved effigies from slayer, meant I would need to ask and track down 104 people seperately before I would be done.

 

Apparently that was 'not providing a fair environment.' I then tried to argue this with the cc owner, who instantly banned and blacklisted me instead of actually LISTENING.

 

So...yeah...would like a new cc instead of one filled to the brim with WBM's and narbs. And it's good to know you're not adopting their stupid rules :thumbup:

i go to w 117 daemonheim to get my daily 30k exp. i know many other DGE membres do the same. Try by the bank there, and by the telespot.

 

of course 95+ construction and rc are always hard to find assists for, whatever you do.

When that clan first opened I was constantly being warned for not speaking lol. Because im assisting others there is zero point in me asking majority of the time because I want a 97 effigy. If I advertise it just makes it incredibly overcomplicated for 9 out of 10 people that I dont want to assist lower. Its far far easier waiting for someone advertising it and then pm. So basically I never have a need to speak.

 

IF I DID SPEAK it would cause even MORE spam and constant messages flooding the clan clat. Its already kinda stupid and spammy and its their own rules that make it spammy due fact people often advertise multiple effigies separately or are forced to advertise one effigy constantly for ages when of course another effigy they need may get attention faster. (Except rule wise they aint allowed in same sentence lol.)

 

Btw they never actually kicked me and now everytime I go there they dont seem to notice me anyway anymore.. [developmentally delayed]ed rules and power hunger is so for the lolz. Fortunately like I said I seem to go unnoticed the last few weeks whenever I pop in for a few minutes then leave without speaking.. >.<

 

And seriously if I was someone -looking- for assists.. I would be severely hampered if I couldnt advertise two at once, especially if they are the same one. I am cosntantly looking for either 97 or two of the same effigy so I only need to deal with one person. So basically I ignore people with only 91 or 95 but if they had two I would possibly consider them. Even if it was a different skill.

 

Other than the rules though its a pretty good clan chat for assists. If I ever did get banned I would obviously use one of the other popular assist clan chats though.. I dont feel the need to break jagex rules to comply with their own rules. Nor do I want people pming me that dont have the effigy I want.

Effigies cc is good, i prefer that one to get my daily xp

If you took the time to read the "Assist clan" forum thread, you'd notice they are operating out of a temporary cc for the mean while.

I use "ffdn" to get my rc effigys done. Or I just go to the ZMI world. I finally got Herblore effigys out of the way now, and I have quite a few friends with construction, so that isn't as hard for me.

I don't get all the hate on Assist clan. They have rules, and their rules aren't very hard to follow. If you want someone to open 2 effigies for you, just pm them or something. I find their rules perfectly fair tbh

I don't use effigie cc's either. I tried the main one not too long ago and there were never any people that could actually assist, so I just try daemonheim w117 everytime now. Whatever works for people though :)

W77 Daemonheim is now better than W117 for assists - easier to see what you are actually doing!!

I didn't know about some of the other cc's and I hated going into the Assist clan.. good to know for the future. Thanks :grin:

I never really use the chats, mainly due to strict rules etc.

 

My method is just hopping around worlds at Edgeville bank (Especially W99/W84), can normally get everything done. :shades:

And my method is simply to bank all the effigies I can't do (which, as of now, is 100% of them) until I get the motivation to get the levels for them.

Because instead of spending countless hours training a skill I hate just to be able to use an effigy, I can pay others to help me in the form of xp 8-)
