This is a [bleep]ing joke. 4 Awesome kills in a row, none of them my loot. Jagex need to fix their broken dmg system, they're a complete joke when it comes to dealing with anything pvp as seen with their mass amounts of [bleep] ups.

 

This is a joke. Perhaps after 10 kills I'll actually get some loot.

Lol glad to see other cranky people. I never really utilized this rants forum, really helped to just throw some trash onto my keyboard in my anger. Feel a lot better haha. Hopefully next time I go out there I'll actually get the loot :thumbsup: And even if I don't, this rant forum is always here for me to rage in, haha. I just hope I didn't break any rules with my post :oops:

Yea, in PvP the person who deals the killing blow should get the loot or something.

 

I support you and I don't PvP at all (except in safe minigames lol).

If people run in a death-match fight against you, you know that whoever k0's them won't get loot, and you will get the loot instead.

Yea, in PvP the person who deals the killing blow should get the loot or something.

Then people would be going around sniping other people's kills and we'd have a whole new thing to rant about.

And for some reason it seems so unbalanced.

 

I actually pked seriously for the first time yesterday, and because I was ags pking, I got a lot of quick ko's. About 6-7 times, the loot wasn't mine, yet someone "finished" my kill for me only once. So unfair...

 

Plus they should fix double ko's. I swear to god, 5 times yesterday I double koed with vengeance, and NOT ONCE did I get my own stuff back even.

 

Needless to say I'm going to go back to slaying now...

Double Ko's are very annoying also.

 

And to callous, it's not us getting lucky with the final few hits, it's really an entirely new fight. They bank, come back out, start a new fight, goes on for a bit, we ko, not our kill. Now that, is broken.

Happened three times to me yesterday. I keep my EXP counter open and reset after every fight to determine how much damage I've done to someone. I've found the maximum absolute experience I can get out of someone is about 2500, or ~90 hp and 27 swordfish. At that point, they're usually dead or running to the nearest safe spot.

Worst I ever had was 2200 experience from damage dealt, and I still didn't get the kill.

I've even made conscious decisions when PKing to NOT go for a KO when I haven't taken enough health from them. How ridiculous is that? I've got an opportunity to kill my opponent (and in all probability will kill them), but I'm worried enough that some incompetent punk will get the drop because they drew their last fight out enough.

 

The system is great when someone else decides to jump in and finish your fight - they don't get the benefit of your effort. The system is horrible when you get a kill and you have no idea where they were downed, and its also horrible when you kill someone but don't get credit.

 

This seems to happen more times in Bounty Hunter than PvP worlds, but that might just be me.

Assuming that the person dealing most damage wasn't their friend, if you move deeper into the wilderness so that the person dealing most damage is not in sight, you still get loot

No, it means you got lucky and got the last few hits. There's nothing wrong with the current system.

 

No it doesnt.

 

It means a long extended fight happened before hand, one of them ran and no one KOed because of safing or whatever. And the 2nd person gets the [cabbage] end of the stick when he kills one of those two people.

 

I used to run around fighting people and walking back into safe zone and alching. Every now and then i would get random kills because apparently i did the most damage.

I guess you need a good Earning Potential to get a good drop?

I like it. Fought 2 ppl until they were out, and stuck near them during their next fights.

 

got both their kills when they got koed.

 

 

was a good day.

So you just get someone down to low health then wait for someone else to KO them so you can take the loot??? Seems like pathetic leeching to me... just kill the person...
