September 30, 201015 yr Glad I read this thread. I got one too and I totally forgot you could make a pet out of it, glad I haven't mounted it yet. I'd definitely go for the pet if I were you. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.

October 1, 201015 yr I'd get the pet. Abyssal minions can be shown off wherever you go, and you can put it in a Menagerie. If you turn it into a trophy, you'd only be able to show it off in your house. ~ W ~

October 4, 201015 yr I've had one for almost a year now. Once I got it, I resolved to mount it. It's important to realize that the points required to turn it into a pet is worth millions in prayer xp. I forget what the exact amount was, but I'd rather pocket 5m (or whatever it is) than have an extra pet. ~It's Super Effective! October 4, 201015 yr I'd mount it. Save yourself like 15 hrs of time >.> Then again who am I to talk when I FOG'ed battle robes. Wut do you value more? Pride or Time & Money?
