You're obviously mistaken my dear friend.

I think Dungeoneering is a skill in some ways, and a minigame in others. It depends on your point of view.

You're so original! No one has ever brought up that dungeoneering functions like a minigame! Wow!

In seriousness, you're about 6 months late on this one.

Starcraft 2 - PCTahvo.617. Message me if you want to play, always up to play with fellow Tifers.

Deja vu...

Also, a new members only skill? As far as I know it's F2P too...

Really i didnt know that, im just an attention seeker

I wouldn't call it out of place. It has almost everything in common with Slayer and more.

It is very similiar to a minigame, but I think it's such a large one that it can easily become it's own skill, since it's not really mini. Although they call them activities now.

you are going to get flamed alot more , for posting like 6 months late.

rather then stating dung shouldn't be a skill.

This point has been brought out again and again (and again and...) since the skill's release. Dungeoneering is intended to be a cultivation (although not a very smooth and balanced one) of all the of the other skills, and could be refereed to as an end-game skill to some extent.

Rewards: Although you would be correct if this were a few months ago when the skill was barely released, you are forgetting a major reward that comes from Dungeoneering: Resource Dungeons. They have greatly impacted the game with new spots and methods to kill Slayer monsters that are usually jam-packed, and they have introduced the greatest constant money-making monster: Frost Dragons.

Also, Dungeoneering is Free-to-Play as well.

(Did anyone else find his post unreadable, or was it just me?)

Edit: Wow, we all just got flame-baited.

Only useful resource dungeon is frost dragons.

And dungeoneering is a skill, or else you wouldn't get exp or levels from it.

The others are pretty useful for Slayer, but I think Dungeoneering itself shouldn't be a skill.

What about the Hellhound and Black Demon resource dungeon for slayer?

Black Demons are basically AFK-able (not in the illegal sense) and fast as hell with a Steel Titan. Also, Hellhounds are now in multi-combat where you can use a familiar and cannon them as well.

The lower-level Resource Dungeons are pretty good too for nubs.

Edit: Lol, he edited the original post, boy, does he feel silly.

In before the lock.

just take it down this was a big mistake

While I agree it doesn't play like a skill, I don't think it was a mistake. I think it's one of the best things to happen to the game. The rewards from it are amazing. It's also just plain fun to do.

Oh look its THIS thread again..

Dungeoneering is a skill that combines all of your other skills into a massive end-game. All of the resource dungeons are great. I mean come on, I always use the 2 dungeons in the falador mines when im mining down there.

kazmahalfsize.png

Yes it's a skill because Jagex says so.

...

But in reality, it's a minigame. It was conceptualized to be a minigame and in actuality its entire build is that of a minigame. The only reason why it's a skill is because Jagex says so, and decided to iron in their point of view via experience and skillcapes.

I like Dungeoneering, because your not grinding unlike almost every non-cb skill.

My only problem with the skill is doing floor 1-29 on complexity 1, because that does feel like a grind.
