The categories are very general. Some can suit a person in multiple ways: not particularly precise process, but not one to be dismissed out of hand, either.

I saw it was all Yes/No questions, so I didn't bother doing it. I can't see how it's going to be accurate when you don't feel like on thing or the other. Otherwise, you just end up being categorised falsely.

 

You're supposed to answer how you felt as a child, or imagine how you would feel if you didn't experience it previously.

 

Can you give an example of when it was both yes and no?

 

The categories are very general. Some can suit a person in multiple ways: not particularly precise process, but not one to be dismissed out of hand, either.

 

They actually while general, are pretty precise, the link I posted is an overview, go to some that Purdue offers, I think you'll find it fits you to the bone.

These tests are ridiculous and I wish people would stop taking them and if they do take them, to stop taking them seriously.

 

If anyone here is taking this test too seriously, it would be you. We all know there are more than four features to a human being's personality.

Not all of the questions can be answered with yes or no. Almost all of those aren't strictly one way or the other. Others there needs to be a middle ground.

ISFJ here. Part of the description matches me, but I'm not too sure. I don't trust this test too much.

 

isfj's don't trust these tests. Generally speaking.

Aand here's the reason I don't trust them. I got ISFJ on another test, 2 days ago, and today I did the test posted in this thread and I got INTJ :roll:.

thats because you answered slightly differently. They are only as accurate as you allow them to be, if you make stuff up to fulfill a perceived image of yourself then obviously it wont be accurate.

 

However if you answered 100% true to how you feel your answers shouldnt change each time, making it accurate

 

Two different tests with different questions. One had 5 available options for each question, the other one was a yes/no type of answer. I answered all question honestly. I don't really care for the result I get, and much less to lie or make stuff up to get certain result.

 

So that means that from one day to the other I went from ISFJ to INTJ? Doesn't sound too accurate to me.

Yes/no questionnaires are pretty bad, a sliding scale of 1 - 5 is much, much better

I did it twice, once a week ago and just now. First time I got ISTP, and this time I got INTP. Both times I was...

 

slightly expressed introvert

distinctively expressed thinking personality

slightly expressed perceiving personality

 

But the only difference was the intuition and sensing which were slightly expressed as well. So I fall between The Mechanic/The Thinker, which I think definately describes me perfectly.

I did take it again, just before I posted it. I believe I've taken this particular test 3 times, the first I got INTJ, the second two I've gotten ISTJ. All the other tests I've taken have categorized me as INTJ, even recently.
