Hey players, what annoys you in Runescape?

 

One thing that annoys me are condescending players, particularly those who denounce players for not having a social life. I mean, seriously, who are they to judge?

Should be in questionaires.

 

That being said though, I hate bots an awful lot. Mining in the guild is pretty much impossible now given the amount of bots there...

Bots that completely destroy a lot of aspects of skilling.

 

and a personal peeve of mine, ignorant people that always ask why I train X skill after 99.

Bots bots bots bots bots. Mining guild bots especially.

Either your party is stupidly incompetent and ignorant to a T... or they're so elite that you basically have to hand over you curriculum vitae so they can check up whether you suit their wild requirements.

It sucks being in the middle in RuneScape. Truly.

Eh, anyway:

"can i barrow ur [item]???"

"What is your level in [skill]?" when, pretty much everytime, they're higher than me. What're the odds? :rolleyes:

"How many days would it take me to get this level in this skill and how many things should I do?" I don't mind the occasional question, but I'm getting sick of people being too lazy to look something up or just asking me things that are impossible to answer.

 

Oh, and more than anything, rage quitters in Dg. D:

The worst of all, when people beg you for assist when they don't eve TRY to assist you first without knowing that

you are capped.

It's even worse when you're actively using the item, like if I'm on a slayer task and someone wants to borrow my whip or something. It's not like I carry a spare whip around on my tasks in case someone is too cheap to buy their own.

 

2. "How do you train [skill]?"

I get this one all the time. It's one of those questions that seem simple, but it's always followed by so many additional questions that it isn't even worth trying to answer in the first place. I generally just ignore these people or direct them to the game manual.

The most efficient way is not always the most enjoyable way for everyone. You can't set a value on personal enjoyment, and everyone's going have a different idea of what's fun and what isn't. Get over it.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to get the most out of your time/money on runescape. But there comes a point when efficiency starts to take the fun away from actually playing the game. And that's where I draw the line.

 

Note the use of a personal pronoun. She seems to be applying that sentence towards herself, not you.

 

Also, I think your posts may just be an example of why she doesn't like efficiency-obsessed players, assuming you are one. The above quote seems to suggest you are, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I dont play runescape, I play the new game by Jagex called Dungeoneering.

 

It's that awesome.
