Santas will rise a little. Edibles will stay where they are at. Phats, very expensive. Masks are the next possible phats....

They'll stay the same and continue to rise over time.

Minor wearables like santas and masks will drop slightly then steadily increase like always.

Partyhats will be buyable for cash (idk about white or blue) But there will definitely circulate through the

market like before.

Edibles will become worthless once again.

IDK much about rare edibles like crackers and wines. I remember half wines going as cheap as holloween masks to more expensive partyhat(s).

There's not guarantee that crackers will be buyable (although I doubt it ever will for that matter) but wines might

require several partyhats or other unbuyables to trade them.

They'll rise, mainly Party Hats and Masks in my opinion, gradually overtime, getting use to new street prices.

I think everything will change to some degree in terms of money, because of the free trade, people can actually merchant a bit easier.

Ok ty guys ill be keeping my rares till free trade i guess then, good thing i sold my edibles a long time ago xd

All edibles will crash hard (selling all mine this week) all "wearable" will go up, the cheaper ones will raise the most.

Cracker will be around 50M more than which-ever party hat becomes most expensive.

Half wine is the only edible that I don't see crashing - should be around 200m vs 30-40m for the rest of the edibles/disk. Look at r2pleasent's (i think) half wine merch back in the day relative to partyhat prices, and you'll notice that even in free trade, they were pretty rare.

Crackers... like now, we probably won't have a solid going price, as there are just too few out there being sold, and because they are THE end-game most expensive item, most people with 1 are not willing to part with it for any price.

Why will the edibles crash?

Are there any hidden bonuses here?

No bonuses

Because edibles are/were used as an item to upgrade to partyhats and other hard to get items. Without restrictions people will be able to buy hard to get items for pure gp rather than having to bypass the artificial price using other rares e.g. edibles.

I'm not an expert but I don't think that video would stand up to vigorous investigation into the legitness of it.

Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod!

^ Still, it has nothing to do with the topic. ;-)

I can pretty much say this is the only reason why nobody will buy edibles. They will simply have no use. With the trade limit gone, people will just

trade in coins or other values without going through the hassle of edibles or street prices. If edibles were wearable or had some sort of purpose,

then that's a whole different story, but I can't see people ever wanting them again. Wines are going below white phat so despite

my last post, I'm assuming wines might be available to the market and they'll be worth somewhere around mid-low phats.

However much they may go up will be worth it because in the time it now takes to accumulate the crap for a trade for an item's "street value" you can use that time to make the extra amount of cash and far easier as well.

Absolutely no idea, I expect a lof of bumps and falls in rares after free trade though.

I'm hoping I will have enough cash to buy a blue phat (or a green if the price of blue would be out of my reach)

:ohnoes:

Everything will crash.

This could be true, with less pvp-coins entering the game and more armour that needs coins to repair.

just saying.. a tad off topic but i remember when santas were only 350k.. that was a LONG time ago but im still expecting rares to decrease.. not to the extent that they once were when u could get masks for around 1-2M  but still im expecting a drop in price. ive been playing on and off since 03-04 back when it was runescape classic so i do have an idea of how the prices fluctuate over time
