February 13, 201115 yr I knew they existed, but I could never find any shops that sold them. You can make them by getting a few handfuls of a salt (different salts make different colours), dissolving them in water or alcohol, soaking some logs or whatever you are burning in the solution, then allowing them to dry. For extra realism, add a coloured dye to the solution that matches the colour of the flame. Chemistry is a fine thing. ~ W ~
