dargonhuman
Well, not really, but I saw this at Raley's yesterday and thought it was too funny to not share!I have no idea how to tell what color the logs burn as, or if the colors are even very pronounced, but the basic concept seems to be the same; logs that burn with different colors other than standard orange. K4ylan
Most of the elements in the first column of the periodic table burn with nice colors. I have a lighter laying around somewhere that changes the colour of the flame every few seconds. ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~

Omali
Reported for bug abuse. It's pretty clear that treasure trail items aren't supposed to be sold by NPCs and that this is a bug you're exploiting, even worse by using real money trading. Enjoy your ban, nub. foursideking
If it counts, this isn't the first time jagex has introduced things from runescape into real life. Hell, when new jersey was made, they more or less copied/pasted the mort myre swamp.
Will H
I knew they existed, but I could never find any shops that sold them. You can make them by getting a few handfuls of a salt (different salts make different colours), dissolving them in water or alcohol, soaking some logs or whatever you are burning in the solution, then allowing them to dry. For extra realism, add a coloured dye to the solution that matches the colour of the flame. Chemistry is a fine thing. ~ W ~

Thus
Lit phosphorus burns a bright white. Borax and some other stuff burns green. The firelighters may be based of real life chemical reactions.
foursideking
Cobalt burns blue, and manganese gives off a goldish-yellow. Oh, and to make any color burn darker/lighter, saturate it with helium and hydrogen respectively...
IHasChicken
This is also the exact way coloured fireworks work, they have an amount of a metallic element like copper (which burns green,) magnesium (which burns blindingly white) or cobalt (which burns blue,) and this dictates the colour of the firework. Kimberly
Duraflame always had a sickly green color to their flame because of all the chemicals its saturated in. I hate using them when I intend to roast marshmellows, just unappealing.

Aeon_
iron filings are win. They sparkle. :twss: Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.-Random Youtuber
