Stommel
The rate of infernal ashes on ecto could be interesting. At the moment I don't think the gp/xp bit means anything though, people aren't going to be selling infernal ashes at less than ~80% of the price of dragon bones just because the mean guide price is ~30% of dragon bone price. Also Dragon bone prices are going to crash (not sure how much) Join "DGS" Guest Clan Chat for Dungeoneering Floors | Accepting all tipiters who are Willing to Learn
xdown3dxd
yeah it will be interesting what ashes stable out at, i think it will be around the 4k region , maybe a bit under
Stommel
Yeah, I can see D bones being about 4-4.5k if there's a decent supply of ashes, not neccesarily stabilising there though Join "DGS" Guest Clan Chat for Dungeoneering Floors | Accepting all tipiters who are Willing to Learn
Andy
Infernal ashes buy for 6.9k each at the moment but it's far too early to say what the price will be. I'm hoping for a cheaper alternative to dbones. I'd like to know the exp/ph of ashes on the ecto. Might be a cheaper alternative to turmoil for me. Mercifull
Are people buying urns because they cannot make them themselves (level requirements)? Because they are so simple to make it's just clay and a rune... Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. BDave
What do you think lesser and greater demon ashes will level out as? I decided I wanted to get some magic exp with hati paws but wanted to do combat for hp exp too so I waited until this update. I haven't been to world 2 but the price thing says 600 ea which is too low a starting point.

bored321
Infernal urns don't even sell for 1k ea atm, managed to sell 83 for 3.5k ea just after the update. Thanks Gradeskip93 for my awesome sig!
GuidesForScapers
Imo, the only positive to come of this update is the potential crash of dragon bones, and even that doesn't seem likely. They are selling for about 50gp less than they were prior to the update, and that is still over the market price. I would like to see them drop down to a reasonable price, anywhere in the region of 4.5k - 5k sounds good. Ashes also seem good, but only for people who don't have the stats for a gilded altar. I don't know what the exp/hr is like without having to grind bones on ecto, but i find it hard to believe it would be more than bones on gilded altars (considering you can do 24-26 without a familiar, and many more with per trip). You are limited to 14 ashes per inventory, and this only increases by half the capacity of a familiar for a 0 exp bonus when compared to dragon bones on gilded altars. Legalize baby punching. Tax and regulate it. Punch babies erry day.

What's stopping people using their ashes on their altars instead of bones? Exactly the same process, just cheaper xp (and only ~15% less xp) Join "DGS" Guest Clan Chat for Dungeoneering Floors | Accepting all tipiters who are Willing to Learn

ForsakenMage
Looking forward to seeing the XP rates for ecto'ing infernal ashes. Will definitely be helpful for me trying to get 95 prayer from 89 once I go back to training slayer again. Adventurer's Log || YouTube || Facebook || Tip.it Times Work || Wanna Join the Editorial Panel?Maxed Out 01 October 2012 PDT

I think when prices level out it will turn out to be a profitable way to train crafting, I doubt the xp is great but there'll always be demand for the urns. I think skilling ones will be more used than infernal though. And some extra profit from tds and slayer is always good

xpx
apologies for the random-ish bump, but was the xp rate for infernal ashes @ ecto ever discovered? would be nice to know lol.Why is it even important? the difference in cost compared to altaring is minimal, while the speed is definitely much slower(2x+). Even if you kill edgeville men, altaring would be better, and that's probably why noone bothered. First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.First to 3766 Port Score on 20. I remember old dragon bone grinding being around 30k prayer xp an hour, so 100k an hour for the ashes is a fair assumption. First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.First to 3766 Port Score on 20.
