Started out with a perfect team on versus, we exploited the hell outta the other team and won 4500 - 500. The bad part was during the evening where this guy was showing attitude, rushing and closing the doors (With survivors still behind him), not reviving any fallen and insisting that all make sure he was in the green before healing himself. Naturally, we would kick him however we didn't as I wanted to tk him so badly. I patiently waited til the finale when only me and him were left surviving. A smoker grabbed him and I just stood there staring and he was yelling into his mic about how I caused the team to loose. I decided to kill the smoker and he lay incapacitated, I then threw a molotov at him and committed suicide. After that you can slaughter every last one of them. But honestly, don't mean to brag or anything, but I don't see why so many people find playing tank hard. Like 3/4th of the time I kill all remaining survivors, unless it's on the finale roof and I get ripped apart by either fire or the minigun. BabyPunchers Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 I got the All 4 Dead achievement by complete accident actually. :-# Right at the beginning of No Mercy, when you first get out of the Apartments, theres a little square. I just spawned as a tank, made my way to the top, jumped right in the middle, threw a rock at the one running and backed the others into a corner. Easy achievement. : That's probably the most fun one too because everyone is yelling "Anyone alive? Holy [cabbage], he killed us all!" InkofDeath Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Most of the achievements I was thinking to get by actually doing the campaign, and I never really thought about using friends to get them, I guess I just wanted the challenge. =P Is the tank able to get in the elevator in No Mercy? I also think everyone can't get hit. Which just adds to the difficulty. Good luck whoever attempts it! - Any PC users though want to add me on Steam though? The humans got trapped in there at the top, but none of us could really get in. I was a Boomer, and just vomited through the hole, fell down the shaft to respawn, repeat.I got so much damage that way. Then Blood Harvest. Boomer again, level 1. Hit and run, lasted for 6 or 7 vomits before dieing. It really is a fun character to play with. And I actually got through the finale in No Mercy versus, only 1 guy died. Afterwards everyone on the other team quit except 1 guy, who tk'd his bots and let us take him out. That game, in a previous chapter, I got Dead Reckoning. Bouya. Command the Murderous Chalices! Boomer totally owns if you're good at finding opportunities and observing possible distractions and then acting on it to get them from their weak spot. It's especially awesome in places like the elevator, or when they've gone into a room to camp a horde. Boomer shines when they're just leaving the closest/bathroom. However I find the smoker to be much more fun to play. It's just something about tongues and taking away a vital aspect to one group far away, totally disrupting how they've been sticking together and one runs off to aid the guy getting pulled, and the other two are still trying to find out whats happened or are getting hit bad by zombies forcing them to move slowly, and leaving opportunities for the boomer/hunters to easily get them to use a health pack/all of their hp. Smokers ftw! Than again Hunters are just awesome too. I'm really disliking anything but the smoker or the hunter. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
