Am I the only one who's hoping they make objects non-moveable when the update comes? forklifts in front of the elevator and dumpsters on the manhole is starting to get very annoying.

 

 

 

If they could make it so the they couldn't block doorways or anything, it'd be fine with me. But having a Tank smack the Forklift so it blocks the alarmed door is just a hugely [bleep] move. I'm fine with them being used as physics objects to incap people, but you can basically halt a game if you get the Tank and feel like an [wagon].

On PC the director actually deletes objects that are blocking the path, and the 360 has a dumbed down version of it.

 

 

 

Try having noone looking at the object for a minute, then go back.

 

 

 

 

 

Also, the boomer could be good but melee spam has ended any chance of that happening.

Have a hunter hit the boomer 3 times and then let the boomer go in. A couple of melee hits and he'll blow up. :)

 

 

 

Me and Ultima and my brother did it the other night, worked out well. They meleed him twice and he blew up on all of them. :lol:

Lol nice. You always have such more confidence when attempting to kill the witch when you know you either have to, or you'll die. Guess that's kind of obvious but I wouldn't risk it any other time. I'm just glad it was on versus, now doing that on expert is a totally different story, lol!

 

 

 

What's really funny though is that it's easier to headshot the witch with a shotgun than with a sniper rifle. I'm gonna laugh at the DLC they release in the next few weeks and if it fixes the shotgun, than a lot will be pissed.

Another thing is the tank dies far too easily in versus, though we've been over this in like page 21-23 I think. Fire alone is a 20-30 second time zone and than you die. Have at least two people empty 20 shotgun shells into the tank, and it's dead, which only takes 10 or less seconds.

 

 

 

I think the arm swing needs to be decreased in recovery time and the hp needs a buff, or the defense does.

Yeah, sitting in a closet/closed space w/four auto-shotguns makes quick work of any Tank, and it only has a chance to get ~1 hit in.

 

 

 

Maybe they should make the pistol's melee weaker than the main weapons. That could solve problems with the quickswitch meleers. Or lower the stun duration of the melee on both weapons slightly, then lower the pistols further.

On pc you just bind suicide and run into the survivors, when they try to melee you away just press the bind and boom they're covered in puke.

Or you wait as close as you can, out of their view, and watch their body signals. When the two people in the front are both reloading at the same time, thats when you want to go in and die/vomit.

Bought it on 360 today because it was cheap .. And I'm having more fun simply because of people I know playing it .. lol.

You can shove, I'd advise against the grenades, not sure if they're a factor.

I'm pretty sure you can use grenades, just not other guns and mounted guns. It's like "the one Free Bullet" in Ep. 1; crowbar, grenade, and rocket kills were fine. Grenades and melee are fine here, just not other guns.

 

 

 

On that note, anyone want to try a campaign using only melee/molotovs? No pipebombs, no bullets? Not today, of course.

I do believe I am ready for some campaigns,just not Dead Air,my computer doesn't allow me to start it.Maybe four of you could group together and let me vomit on you :pray:

I just died about 4 feet from the safe room on sewers. :(

 

There were two of us left going up the manhole, both about 16 hp from a tank attack. I threw a pipe bomb when we got up there, but we both bled out stumbling into the hospital doors.

 

 

 

I also ran into someone who apparently was not aware that boomers make noises, and got very mad when a survivor shot him through the door he was standing right behind. He actually typed "wtf hacks".
