Returned3 Posted January 10, 2009 Share Posted January 10, 2009 It's impossible to not get barfed the whole campaign, not get damaged after contacting the rescue vehicle or not get damaged by any special infected when playing with bots... Kill them when you don't need them anymore. The witch one is easy if you kill the bots beforehand. Not to get barfed on is easy if you find the boomer and melee spam, gotta stay ahead though. To be honest I made it to the finale with bots only on easy and I accidentally got boomerd, not the bots. Kill the bots before you touch the rescue thing, then go run under the stairs in NM. Though I'd suggest this with a friend so you have a reload partner. (You don't need all four do you for untouchables, if they've died beforehand?). - Nothing Special is probably the most difficult one though, even with friends, on easy. Cause if that boomer gets you...=/. Those are the ones I've thought out... Wow what the... The ones I have left just expect me to play campaign over and over again (What are you trying to prove?, Red Mist, Zombie Genocidist. Yeah those ones ) Wait. You need to do campaign for Genocidist? [bleep]! And riku, want to try the death toll expert and/or untouchables thing you were talking about before today? Sure I'm up for it today anyone else wanna come? You can kill them, pretty easily when you change the difficulty to expert, then change it back to easy. What makes it impossible is that there's the two doors in the rescue room in solo, that can't be broken until after you start the finale. Darn Valve! Do it on Death Toll, there's a rocks that zombie can only come from one direction and only smokers can come from the other. When all bots die. Those two doors on No Mercy's rooftop will close. And they will spawn as soon as you hit that radio. This is why you can't do it in solo. You can do it in Campaign with others, but you gotta be lucky to make sure no1 joins the game. Also, I'm skeptical on Death Toll, so you can do this: - Kill all bots - Hit the radio without them respawning in any area - Doing this while in Solo Which you can't since you can't destroy the door in the pavilion, or in the bathroom/closest until after the radio is hit. Lenticular_J Posted January 10, 2009 Share Posted January 10, 2009 I was playing against some of my friends (for most of them, I use the term friend very loosely, they're [wagon]), and lo and behold, they do the elevator blocking against me and the three medium-in-skill strangers. Annnnd whaddaya know, we escape and all get into the safe room. We do it, they all die or kill each other from friendly fire. We were glad because we were winning. And then, finale, one of our guys loses connection, and another gets disoriented thanks to a boomer and falls off the building. AI, me, and another guy. We do it, and since the other guys are playing dirty, we rush to the catwalk. Louis gets the brunt of the fighting for about 4 minutes. Then, as soon as the helicopter says he's here, a tank knocks me down, a boomer vomits on us, and a smoker and hunter attack. WTF. we figured we could still beat 'em, though. Nnnno. They all get to the catwalk and even survive two molotovs hitting each other in the face. :l And then, the helicopter gets there, and the game lets them leave two people still alive right next to the helicopter! Only one was down, too, by a hunter. The other guy was just standing there. [hide=]Get 3 friends to go on Dead Air, start at the finale. Repeatedly bash the turret over and over and over (the launching glitch). You should hit it enough to launch on top of the plane. Get 3 people to get on top, the last person calls the radio then does the same. Up there all there is to worry about is Tanks (concrete), and smokers(obvious). Once the plane door drops make sure there are no special infected by the entrance and book it in there! (I got like 80g worth of achievments after this XD)[/hide] Tumblr. Follow me! I didn't even add him. But I do know someone who may be willing to give it a try; that guy I invited before, that couldn't come because he and his friend were on the same Xbox and we only had space for 1. I gotta say, with bots(no idiots rushing) I was able to headshot bout 90% zombies from a distance before advancing(including a witch :3). Its really good for slow go-thrus and not rushs, because you kill whats ahead of you and your teammates clean up. I barely lost health, only time I did was when the tank rushed me. #-o Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob.
