March 24, 201115 yr I got an invite for a RS sponsored event from a jagex mod. I'm just trying to figure out if it was specific to me, or just a mass spam email. I'm hoping we are not being spammed through our RS inbox now???? Anyone else get this invite? .

March 24, 201115 yr Extremely easy way to determine if messages from Jagex are real or fake: If it's in your RS inbox, the one you can access when you log in, it's real. If it's in your actual email, it's fake. No exceptions. ~ W ~

March 24, 201115 yr Nope. I think clan leaders and maxed players get regular messages though about different updates or events. Do you happen to be in either of those categories? Depends on the type of event you're being invited to obviously. Like if it's Runefest, it could be because you attended last year (or at least bought a ticket).
