Played some Cod4 tonight, had a lot of fun, and there wasn't many hacked lobbies, but there was actually one of the hacked lobbies where I had more fun than the normal game, some kind of hack that affected everyone in the lobby. Only the people with the hacks could superjump and such, but still.

A lot of hacked Cod4 lobbies are awesome. The low grav ones are the best.

Anyone know why tactical grenades can't be replenished? It's irritating to have nothing to use against campers once you've spent your only 2.

Thank god they can't, too many idiots spam them constantly anyway.

Hardline pro, Spam concuission = spam assists = spam killstreaks. Really I would rather have concussions scavanged than hardline pro.

 

Am i rirhg in thinking that they got rid of drop zone for infected? (cant get on atm) If so WHAT THE [bleep]? What not have both.

Dropzone is much better than infected, that's what my opinion is. Didn't check if they removed it or not though, didn't play enough yesterday to have the chance to check that out.

 

Anyway, I know that I personally spam flashes to get my recon challenges, then I use other perks until I prestige. Since Recon goes up fast, it's fast XP, and then with another perk after that it's a lot more XP and challenges for another perk as well.

With the new spawn system, I guess I have a newfound love for Demolition, it gives so much XP. Also I just had 50k XP in my last match before getting off. So many challenges at once O.o

They removed Drop Zone...for a camping all game type named Infected...? Not cool. I miss Drop Zone. It had more of an objective than just camping...Bring Drop Zone back!

According to Woodysgamertag they are working on it. Supposedly they ran out of space and had to remove something to add infected. I wonder which gamemode they remove for dropzone, will it be ctf? not many people play capture the flag anymore, or could be Team Defender, but I wouldn't be happy if they remove that one.

they added some new loadouts to infected (rsass sniper and the pp90 are two). and some "glitch" spots will now kil you if you get in them

altho ive seen a bunch of people in them spots and they havnt died (proof yet again iw cant set up death barriers or w/e they use)

 

it also tells you if you will have a throwing knife. the gametype will be named tknife-(whatever weapon the non infected get) this is the only thing making me want to play. atleast now i know if i wont get a throwing knife so i can leave the lobby

To name one, on top of the truck/van thing near one of the spawns on Arkaden. It's the one you have to jump from the railing to get to. I saw a guy get there and die instantly so I was all like :ohnoes: because I thought there was an infected nearby.

 

Good updates. Although I haven't seen the tknife thing yet, all the games I've played we just never get a throwing knife.

I have to say I [bleep]ing hate lag compensation. How am I supposed to have a good game when I have scores that have few kills and 37 assists! (I can give proof), and that's without the recon drone... Guess I'll have to downgrade from optic fiber to the highest phone line plan we have here, then I won't be host and won't be bothered with lag compensation.

Infected is a good idea in theory, but when everyone just sits together on top of some impossible to get to ledge and camps together, it's [bleep]ing frustrating. Especially if we (the infected) don't get a throwing knife. When I'm not infected, I actually move around and just play cautiously rather than camp. And usually I'm one of the first infected for it. So stupid the way people play this game.

It's even worse when you get people going in a place with a tight doorway, and getting their infected friend to stand in the door, so nobody can get past and then they boost for a MOAB.

It's particularly bad on the two storey building on lockdown. ;_;

is my reasoning behind not using hardline as your tier 2 with specialist, correct

 

instead of getting say, assasin, recon and dead silence at 1 3 5, why not run assasin, get recon at 2 dead silence at 4 then get hardline at 6 or 8 (all perks unlocked)

Saw a (prestige?) rank which looked like a golden head with a sword (or some long stick) vertically over it. How do you obtain it? I haven't seen it until today, and it doesn't match any prestige rank.

I think it's the 9th or 10th prestige emblem, and you mis-saw it.

we will be getting new prestieges, 402 has confirmed this will happen

pc has them now i think, 360 and ps3 will be getting later

 

[bleep]ing stupid idea, they should fix there game first. atleast anyone in a clan can take advantage of the xp from leveling it once they release the clan op's (assuming they want to prestiege and loose god knows how many gold guns they had lol)

I also think it is stupid that they are just now adding the new prestiges, I have one friend in particular that is very unhappy with that, seeing as he got all Assault rifles' gold camo, as well as the gold camo on all the SMG's. He says he needs to prestige when he can, so I guess he'll lose all that work.

Today I had a 17 killstreak in a regular TDM. I didn't die at all so I finished 17-0. Had the match kept going I really think I could have gotten a moab. It was on the map Underground. In case anybody cares, I felt like sharing this.
