I can't remember the magic level required to use your personal gatestone, but you could use the highest combat spell you have and gatestone trick to avoid damage altogether. It'll take awhile, though.

1. Place personal gatestone outside boss room.

2. Run in and immediately attack.

3. Tele out using personal gate.

4. Repeat.

Your personal gate negates all damage that would've been done to you, so as long as you're quick, you should be fine.

But, again . . . that'll take awhile. And a lot of cosmics.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

I see nothing as an issue.

Most boss monsters max out at ~4* your combat level.

There are a boss monster afterall.

Why is a lvl 84 for a lvl 26 any worse than a lvl 320ish for a lvl 100ish?

Both are 3.2* higher level.

It's meant to be a challenge. After all it's the boss monster. As Sy_Accursed suggested, it's the same story for higher levels as well. I can't recall the last boss monster I had that was under 200 combat.

But yeah, I can imagine the extra challenge it is for pures. So if you do get a chaotic weapon, imagine the extra advantage you'll have against others.

pure by its original definition is something with its hp > combat level

due to dungeoneering monsters being based off your hp level....

a pure that low leveld really should be using lamps while you train up a bit more

If you quote me please be sure to note that I'm extremely mad.

Actually, it's because Har'Lakk's minimum level is 84. Not because of combat stats or anything :P

I don't really see a problem here.

As stated above, this monster is a boss. It isn't meant to be easy.

The same is for higher levels, the maths is no different. It was your choice to train as a 1 defence pure, it is your burden to carry. JaGeX doesn't need slagging down for your choices.

Good luck!

I don't [bleep]ing get the purpose of being pure, anyway. After the numerous changes Jagex has made to the game, there is really little benefit to being a pure anymore. The only kind of pure that is still decent is the summoning/defense pure, but that requires a significant amount of capital and time investment to accomplish.

This.

For some reason everybody wants to ignore this fact and simply mess with OP for being a pure.

If this were a lvl 26 main, would it really be any different? And his HP isn't really high enough to justify a boss monster that high.(for other bosses anyway)

Both are 3.2* higher level.

It doesn't really quite work like that though. As your combat increases you can start to kill monsters of a much higher level than yourself pretty easily. A level 3 will have trouble against a level 7 farmer, but at level 138 you can kill a monster like the Corporeal Beast solo, and at level 128 I can kill level 304 mith dragons while semi-afk despite them being nearly three times my level.

Dungeoneering is an endgame skill. Deal with it.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

That's nothing to do with them being easier.

It's to do with you having the right gear and exploiting their weaknesses.

As a level 3 you can easily kill stuff into the 20s if you have the right armour, food and tactic.

Do not mistake having gear etc for them being "easier" in general; go there with the wrong gear entirely and watch yourself get pwned.
