Raiouken
I haven't been playing for a couple of months because of boredom - I haven't been able to find anything to do. I want something that preferably isn't repetitive and is fun. I'm welcome to any suggestions. I have around 25m cash and I'm worth around 40m with everything. Raiouken
Maybe I'll try dungeoneering, but it's been boring me to death so far. How can I make it more fun and fast? I want the arcane stream necklace as soon as possible. I'm open to more suggestions.
Kata_Phfract__the_slayer
one of the best things to do in rs: Dungeoneering. one of the worst things to do in rs: Dungeoneering with a bad team/solo. I'm a Brony and proud of it!
Raiouken
I'm only like level 7 as far as I remember. I don't know if I'd be good enough to join a team, and my melee and combat are a bit low.
Quyneax
Your magic level is good - if you get 70 rc and 95 magic you can be useful in teams. With hood, empowered fire and a surgebox you can take down warriors pretty fast, the main downside being that you will run out of casts after a few rooms. Sadly the ammo issue would make a katagon 2h the bind for you. If you're serious about dungeonering, 80 attack and high strength have priority, and high total next (1800+ I'd say, mostly herblore) just so you're not totally useless when it comes to skill tasks. jjjon123
Idk about this but I was just thinking about it today. Cannon DKs with max defence items and mage pray. But yeah, dungeoneering like everyone says is a fun thing to do as long as you get a good team 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! brad1431
how about slayer? I know it isnt the hottest thing to do right now like DGing, but it is better then grinding through levels 1-60 in DGing, which you should do with peng points, exp lamps and your weekly Tears of guthix, until yo get level 60 through those methods, just slay. JPMC Mate
^ That is actually good advice. OT: Get 70 Prayer, high Summoning, and a Rapier and Fire Cape. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
Arthu
Idea: train your lowest skill. If you level, train your 2nd lowest one. Repeat. If neither of those two feels doable, then do Slayer. Slayer is win. Seriously though, fun thing to do? Log out. Before you get hooked without realising it's not fun.. 99+ all 23rd March 2012 - 2496 total 13th June 2012.9000+ dragon drops! Including draconic visage, d chains, d spears, d2h, d claws, d meds, d legs, d skirts... d bones, d hides :)?I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)? All_Is_Great
With 94 magic, SC could be very fun. Just don't worry too much about points and make c4 mage set, and barrage away at all the noobs. Be aware though, if you're on the team opposite of me ...
Raiouken
I think I'll consider training runecrafting with the ZMI altar. Thoughts? Maybe I can dungeoneer after. I was already doing slayer before I quit.. it got pretty repetitive. It was fun though. I don't really want to train prayer, summoning or melee since they'll raise my combat. I already have a fire cape. I'll read about SC. How about Fist of Guthix?
Nifflin
Runecrafting is a massive bore. Go with slayer to train combat if you find it fun. If you don't pk then raising combat is only a good thing. It makes you stronger. Fist of Guthix is fun, especially if you enjoy hybriding. I personally remember doing barrows for fun when I was about your level. Maybe you would like to give it a shot. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. Andy
I like to run around in circles at lumbridge. Also, killing guards and giving the loot to people in world 2 is quite fun. I also like to stand at banks saying nothing and doing nothing. fun fun fun

Raiouken
Yeah, I thought runecrafting would be more fun.. just tried it and was disappointed. I do pk sometimes. I've done Barrows hundreds of times and I've made like 30-40m from it so it's pretty boring now. Definitely gonna try out Fist of Guthix and Stealing Creation. I hardly know anything about them though.

Winarr
Reality is, with dung you aren't going to get consistent teams unless you're already 80+ and know how to dung fast. Getting there solo or by w117 is going to make you kill yourself, best bet is using free xp (lamps/penguin points). If you need something to sink time into start slayer, if you stick with it you'll max 5 skills picking up probably 100+ effigies along the way. You'll also make some decent cash to pay for herb/pray for boss hunting if thats something you'd like to do later on.

Because most of the PKers in the game are mages, I still recommend some robes to give a little defence. Another good idea is to make both and swap. That or just run into the fog then do the cast and run method, it will piss people off
Trollface
Start dungeoneering in w117 until you get a shadow silk hood. Even though floors will be ridiculously slow (2 hours each lolwut), you'll gain several levels/floor. A large dungeon at level 40 will take you up to 47ish. You'll continue unlocking new floors every dungeon until abandoned 2 is unlocked at which point you'll have to prestige again. Once you have abandoned 2 floors unlocked start doing floors with DGS. You'll appreciate how fast they are compared to 117.
