Unless you're extremely rich, it's probably smarter just to take the loss of the exp on the cannon.The cannon would be better put towards cave crawlers for the effigies. Not to say that this isn't a pretty innovative method. It does seem to cater a select few in the game (I think).Most of the people with steel titans also have 99 range. Either way, great guide! He's saying it would be a better idea to use slayer + cannon because you don't have maxed melees already. But from the standpoint of most it is not particularly useful. By far the best way to train range when going for a high end main is through your cannon while slaying and then if going for max total or other goals cannoning cave crawlers. Even when going for 200m experience in all skills it is by far better to cannon cave crawlers for range experience. The method seems highly expensive it would be interesting to know by how much (?) but I cannot see it being used by anyone who does not have a similar account to yours - a very rich pure wishing to power to high ranged level. Crawlers would be much better to cannon + titan, even if you use a simple rune crossbow as primary weapon.
