tigershelby2
So, coming back from vacation, I decided to pick back up on my slaying. Ive never slayed with the best gear, mainly because of cost. But now Im looking at about a 20m bank, and Im wondering if it would be better to get a bandos top, or fury first. The top would leave me with about 2m, while the fury would leave about 8m. Suggestions? Barrows: Verac- Helm, Brassard x 2,Torag- Body, HammersKaril- CrossbowGuthan- BodyAhrim- Hood, Staff
Frede173
Fury.Better offensive stats and you usually pray protect/deflect against stronger monsters like dragons so defensive bonuses won't be needed as much as offensive. ghjkl
Bandos will prove 2 more strength bonus than fury at the cost of 1 prayer bonus.
reddawn509
The fury. It's cheaper, leaving you more room to buy things as they come up, and its more versatile. A fury is the best amulet all around, and will have a lot more uses than gear you should really only use with melee.

Nifflin
The fury. May I ask what your other gear is? PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.

May I ask what your other gear is?Generally whip/d scim, torag plate/rune plate, verac skirt/d skirt, d defender, FSH, D boots, rune rfd glvoes, and glory Barrows: Verac- Helm, Brassard x 2,Torag- Body, HammersKaril- CrossbowGuthan- BodyAhrim- Hood, Staff
Nifflin
You should get a zerker ring too then. Also you might consider prossy top and verac skirt so that you can piety everything. Edit: If you don't already piety everything. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. tigershelby2
Ill look into the zerker, but I dont usually pay enough attention to piety. Nifflin
Piety speeds your tasks up a lot. Certainly more then upgrading to fury would. I seriously suggest you look into it. My_Eggs
Piety speeds your tasks up a lot. Certainly more then upgrading to fury would. I seriously suggest you look into it. If by not paying enough attention to piety he means that he attacks a monster, switches to forums for a minute or so, then switches back to runescape to see that he's standing there with his loot on the ground, then piety may be a waste of money. He'd be using a lot of prayer points just standing around (if that's even what he means by he doesn't pay enough attention). 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. As I was playing earlier, I was on TIF, looking for a new cell, and reading for my summer assignment. Kinda hard to piety while doing so many things. Ambler
Fury gives the same strenge addition as glory and tassets, although verac skirt and fury has more defense.Overall, fury and zerker is an extra 6 strength, AND you can use high defense/ prayer bonus armourFull bandos is +6 strenth also, but not as high defense/ prayer and verac skirt and torag top, So overall, fury and zerker will always be a better first choice than bandos.Alsonote the fury have +15 indefnse bonuses, while glory has +3, it wll help more overall! Hope I helped and have fun slaying! ^^My blog of EoC PvM, lols and Therapy.^^My livestream- Currently: Offline :(Offical Harpy Therapist of the Mad[hide=Lewtations]Barrows drops: Dharok's helm x2, Guthan's helm, Ahrim's top, Hood and skirt, Torag's hammers, Karils skirt, Karil's top, Torag's helm, Verac's skirt, Verac's Flail, Dharok's Platebody.Dag kings drops: Lost count! :wall:4k+ Glacors, 7 Ragefires, 4 Steadfasts, 4 Glaivens, 400+ shards![/hide]

Wkw
Fury has the same attack as a gloryFury has 12 def higher then a gloryFury has 2 strength higher then a glory TBH, you should get tassets. Tassets + fighter torso + strength ammy is max str you can have consisting of plate, legs, and amulet. Get a torso, then tassets. Save so you can next buy a bcp Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum

A fighter torso takes more time than it would to make the money for Bandos chestplate for most players, plus you can't sell it when your done with it. A str amulet isn't worth using since your getting no prayer bonus. Fury is 12.2mBeserkers Ring is 3.4mBandos Chestplate is 18.2mTasset is 20.2mVerac's Plateskirt is 775k Go with the Fury, Berskers Ring and Bandos Chesplate in that order as you can afford it.(Assuming you could spend the 38.4m on Bandos, you can get those)Use a Verac's Plateskirt until you can afford a Tasset. If you want more strength points, do Jad special tasks for Firecape(unless you already have one) Edit: Just noticed you said you only had 20m, in that case, it's probably best to earn a bit more gp so you can afford the Fury and Berskers Ring. It'll save time in the long run, assuming you use a skill/low time method(flipping, farming) to gain money.

Not to mention +8 prayer or the time it takes to get a torso? It's a really bad idea to use a strength amulet + tassets over fury + Verac's skirt (+ berserker ring with the money saved) and a pretty bad idea to get a torso as well. JPMC Mate
Fury is a cheaper upgrade per bonus than Bandos, and it also gives higher prayer and str. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
