Clean shaven more easily approachable?

Featured Replies

im wondering if girls find it more easier to approach a guy who is clean shaven rather than a guy who has a some facial hair..

That's like saying "is it easier to approach someone wearing green". It's purely a matter of personal choice.

Though I'd imagine the small majority would say clean shaven is more approachable.

Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

Contrary the the "old days" and partially because of the media, girls don't want hair on any part of guy's bodies other than the top of their head.

Still the King....

I guess part of it would depend on the age group you're talking about. I'm pretty sure singles in their mid to high twenties wouldn't mind facial hair. Personally, I feel dirty if I don't shave, that and I think I look better when I'm shaven and approximately 2 years younger.

I don't like looking yonger than I am as it is. Already people think I'm like 17/18 when I'm 20 :(

But without my goatee people have said I look 16 :|

Anyhow, from my experience, I don't think it really matters much, at any age :-?

i cant stand shaving, but i dont mind having a little hair on my face. screw everyone else, ill do what i like best  . good thing it doesnt grow very fast (my 5 o'clock shadow comes at 5 o'clock on the next day :P )

Precisely-- it's a preference thing. Clean shaven is generally more accepted as proper grooming, and has been for a number of years now. Right now, I think goatees (usually a Van [bleep], not a traditional Colonel Sanders type) are a bit more acceptable than full beards.

Right now I have a rather wild winter beard, but I do believe in using beard/moustache trimmers. That's generally a must, too.

What a stupid question. Of course its all about preference.

Either clean shaven, goatee or well trimmed beards it doesnt matter, so long as you dont look like a tramp im sure there are plenty of girls that will like you.

I want a beard (full beard). But it doesn't grow. There's some pathetic fur on my chin and a small mustace. And I'm 19. All my friends can grow beards but don't want them, and I want one but can't grow it.

Trust me, at your height and posture, you're scary enough without the beard :P

I think I've posted this before, but round here it's sorta 'fasionable', or at least allowed, for a guy to have a bit of stubble.

I prefer the look of it to clean shaven, so I don't shave my face clean.

Dreaming of that face again

It's bright, and blue, and shimmering

Grinning wide

And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes

I hate beards and 'moustages':P

Some girls find a bit of stubble quite sexy, some don't, it's all down to the girl.

No. I have manly hair. Manly hair makes me manly. Manly men ftw.

This is the way the world ends. Look at this [bleep]ing shit we're in man. Not with a bang, but with a whimper. And with a whimper, I'm splitting, Jack.

Having a beard is like having a furry little animal that you can pet whenever you want. And it gives you something to play with when you're bored. There's a ton more reasons why beards rule but I'll stop so I don't make the hair impaired people jealous.

Good enough not to be jealous in my book :P
