That first game was amusing. I figured out the trick (or a trick) for the spaceship. Upgrade the crap out of lightning and missles and magnets. (I ended with 5 magnets I think.) Forget the main cannon weapon and the agility upgrade.

Guns have higher dps afaik, I had 8 level 5 lightnings but they weren't as good at wave 20 as 8 level 5 guns.

It's fun but the story and graphics suck, no way around it. The biggest advantage is that you can mod the game as much as you like.

 

So is Q going to quit rs or get comp cape?

If I'm getting comp cape it isn't any time soon, I'm not even a member anymore and those lost loyalty points add up!

It's not the ompany, but thosei n control of the people who decide updates, pretty sure almost no Jmods actually support MT's on SoF, remember they do still make some good updates!

I think I quit because after the bot nuke, I wasn't able to do as much on RS and got bored. I was running out of things to do that weren't grinding.

(Never tried dominion tower, with all the lag I got I didn't want to.)

 

Up until the SoF update I had planned to return eventually, once there was a lot of new content for me and the lag issue was gone. Now? I'm staying gone.

Achieved 400 archery proficiency in M&B (vanilla Native) which isn't very special except that it's cool.

Yeah that was my reaction too.

 

Proficiencies are a bit like attack bonusus, if you have lots of them they aren't so relevant anymore. At 10 archery proficiency you can barely draw a bow, at 100 you can hit big shields/bodies fairly consistently, at 200 you can usefully aim for headshots, at 300 you hit what you aim for no questions asked. 400 is just overkill (and the max is 699, lol).

 

Playing as solo horse archer gives you some unusual results, for example I've killed 66 sea raiders by myself (not even taking a break to refresh arrows, just looting). Since they will just keep charging you, and you can keep riding ahead of them on horseback and shoot them. With sea raiders you actually have to shoot them in the leg because they keep their shields across the rest of their bodies XD. The best strategy to deal with knights (lots of armour and a shield + high shield skill) is to kill their horses :D (authentic, Mongols did that when they invaded Europe).
