if you take rares out of the game, you still leave in all the money paid for the rares...so now whenever a new thing comes out, all you ppl complaing bout high rare prices..which is pretty much a useless item as far as using it for skills goes..are gonna be complaining that you can't afford any new thing that comes out because the prices of them are gonna be jacked up because people will lots of money arnt gonna have nothing else to spend it on...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also you might think, o well then i'll just get one myself...say barrows armour, used lots of prayer pots...if someone wanted to make a lot of money off barrows armour and they had 200M and nuttin to do with it, they'll buy prayer pots at an expensive rate...now prayer pot prices are through the roof just because someone can afford it.

i say if you have no plans on buying rares and dont care bout em in anyway shape or form, then do just that, dont worry bout em, but at the same time, dont make post bout how you want em outa the game, because if they don't affect you now, then taking them out of the game has no affect on you(other then unforseen affects)...so quit ur complaining

I remember blue partyhat was 50m in September 2004. Now least 100m in more than 15 months BEFORE mass banned happened. I was unhappy at this time when I made last posted because it's very annoying cause I heard about same thing about how people care/complain about party hats for almost daily even in-game. It's hard to avoid because I can accident heard peoples' talk about it at in-game anytimes. Don't tell me about turn off for public chat. I usually do it but sometimes carefully because some people got banned (some got perm. banned too) for macro because noobs reported them for didn't answers. I'm not joking and it did happened after I read about it in other forums. :roll:

blue was about 110-120 mil before the ban so it rose 40 to 30 which is alot, but nowhere near as much as they did last june, where they all tripled.

However, the effect on the market from the disappearance of these Rares is easily countered by the fact that much less wealth is being created due to the removal of these accounts. Although I hate to admit it, autoers were providing Rare Investors like myself great returns, and have been fueling extremely high Party Hat prices in recent weeks. Needless to say, however, that there are likely plenty more players using these autoers, and that their effects will continue to be felt until a major change is implemented by Jagex. I am simply stating that besides the speculation arising from the mass ban (which seems to have greatly subsided already), the deletion of the accounts will have a negative effect on Rares, if any.

You wouldnt think that a program could find the doors etc. Last time i checked the JAGEX script, places you in a random place around the outside 4 rings.

I dont mean to sound rude or anything, but most people who complain about party hat's being annoying are people who know that they're 99% most likely out of their reach. That was the same as me... until a good freind of mine gave me one... then my opinion changed.. obviously ;) lol

People that say no one was banned with phats, just junk, are wrong! Most people who got banned got all of their autoing accounts and their mules and mains banned. Im sure a huge ammount of rares were lost more than most think.

Why? Thats like saying pures should be banned or skill totalers should be banned. If someone likes to merchant let them do it. You obviously dont want to own a phat so dont complain.

People auto'd, so they dont have to do much, they make money out of the supplies the auto'er made for them. They sell the items, they save up, that way there able to buy rare and expensive items because they arent limited by effort, a machine does it for them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So, seeings the Phats are ontop of the expensive list, they buy them, save em up and wait for them to increase significantly in value.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So, there are tons of autoers that contained phats in their banks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Along comes the ban, the phats are whiped from exsistance. More demand and less supply brings the price up, because it is now even rarer to find them

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thats why the price has shot up, any one who blaims merchants for this is absolutely wrong. Its obvious when a ban occurs, the items belonging on the account are long gone, decreasing slowly the amount that exsists.

This is entirely possible (with the maze), I'm sure, but probably pretty difficult. If you click on the wall, it tries to open it as a door, which you can't, so that makes it a little more difficult (as opposed to just being able to click wherever there's a door and not dealing with the walls in the way)

There shouldn't be this rapid increase in prices because of the mass ban. Who autos on their main? Who stores party hats on the accounts that they macro on? Think about it. There should be no reason that party hat prices should be affected by a mass ban except that people are stupid and merchants are greedy.
