Also, Retech, I think that the system is kind of flawed in that everyone seems to be incompetant. You saw it as well, right? I mean, the d20 system is kind of harsh, so maybe you should make the fail boundry just a tad lower?

 

I considered it before, but decided not to. It's up to you, now.

 

I've never really used d20. I figure that average, everday activities should be easy, while climbing on the tops of buildings would definitely have a fail rate.

Necromancy is a school of magic, so you could get "Touch of death" or something, which would give you very basic "death" magics, if you will. Keep in mind that within the city, you might find it hard to find someone who would teach you that, except in the criminal underworld.

how can you wall jump into a castle if there arent two walls to jump from. that and most of our mission arent going to be in those situations.. so theres absolutley no practical use for it.

And how do you know Tech isn't going to shove everyone into a long, tall, narrow corridor? Not to mention its uses in getting out of, oh, say... PIT TRAPS.

Basically, I'm a rich guy who's poor but still acts rich so the suits dirty but I always wear them with a top hat and monocle to feel important.

 

And I'm playing for fun, its not really competative so surely regenerations fine?

Description: Shoulder length, black hair, tall, with an average build, if a little on the thin side, has an eyepatch due to being blind in one eye from an accident, and his other eye is grey/blue.

 

History: Ares didn't really fit in with the villages other people, prefering to stay inside and read, although he did get over that in the months before the destruction of the village. He made friends for the first time only to see them cut down or driven away soon afterwards, leaving him rather cynical and depressing to be around when he is acting normally. He tries not to let it affect those around him and is generally seen as a fairly happy person. His left eye was damaged when the village was destroyed, due to being caught by a knife.

Regeneration is definitely overpowered. It's not really a distinction between fun and competitive, but everyone should start out roughly equal. I only gave the unique quality (aka level boost) to give people the chance to start in one direction.

I actually want to change mine to chronomancy, but not the chronomancy as in go back in time. It is kinda like necromancy, but it instead of killing them with poison, I kill them with time. I want the power to speed up or slow down time around me. I saw it off an anime and it was really hard to beat him.

You could go with air. It certainly has pressures and stuff. I was thinking of void as a rarer form of magic, accessed through a quest or something.
