September 19, 201015 yr I played it as more than a "just do cool stuff" game. I managed my budget, to the dollar, as well as my military, ships.... eventually, it got to where Hegemony was more important than homework, simply because Hegemony was a more fun version of homework for me. So I quit, and I'm not planning to ever play Hegemony again.
