Is anybody interested in an MSpaint adventure type of game? In which one character is controlled by the votes of players.

Sort of like homstuck.

No.

It sounds interesting, although I think the main issue is getting a decent number of players for that sort of game. At least on the Tavern anyway. Unless it could have as much traffic in one session as Dungeoneering, then it could work. But if it turns out only 3-4 people are interested, then the voting system won't work very well unfortunately. :(

Interesting idea regardless though. :)

Iey, I was thinking that if not enough people cast their votes I could combine the acts of two people or alternatively roll a dice?

Leiana, I don't really know how else to do it, but its fun to get people involved in my opinion. I could have it so that people post what they want the person to do and then if somebody agrees then it'll occur.

Res, another way to do it, that would accommodate for having only a handful of players is each person choose and action, and you roll a d20. Person with the highest roll wins the action. That way you don't have to wait for people to vote, etc...

Ieyfura, I think that would be too hard. I think it would feel fairly tacky over a while to illustrate a dungeoneering campaign. Also running one is hard enough, having to draw everything would be even harder! Sticking with one character is fine.

The point is really to emulate one of those text based games. Attempted to make an illustrated hegemony might work with some diagrams but I think that doing it in the MSPA style would take too long and require a level of skill that I don't have - maybe Stork or somebody else in the gallery however could.

I'll run it anyway and if people post then I'll continue.

Also: This is free!

Res, You completely missed the point of my suggestion. Each person posts what they want the ONE character to do, and then you roll the die per person, the person with the highest roll "Wins" the action and then the character of the story performs the winnner's action.

Thats a good idea actually.

I will be using that system.

Paul's suggestion

How does that even make sense as anything?

It makes sense as you have posted the same picture time and time again, and Paul and I found it tremendously entertaining to add that face to your character in an expression of 'FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET THE IDEA OF USING THIS DIE'

It would be like me periodically advocating that everyone joined the MLP fanclub and plastered the Tavern with pictures.

Also it is spite manipulation of a very low grade

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

[bleep] the UK (In Vicky II), is it normal for them to declare war on you randomly (I just finished beating them back [read; keeping my european cores and occupying most of SA and a bit of India] for the second time)? On the plus side, I now have some pretty bad ass brigades (and the UK is missing quite a bit of their uber fleet).
