September 24, 201213 yr I go to Casinos once every month or so, they are only a couple hours drive and it's fun to take a trip with your friends to go play and try to win some money. Most I've won was $780 off of a single spin in a slot machine. I've come out over $500 on the black jack table a couple of times with $10-100 bets, most I've lost was around $200. Legal age here is 18 I believe but I've taken a couple of friends who were under 18, they only check ID when you're cashing out big amounts.Ie over $1000

September 24, 201213 yr Never been my thing, mostly because I don't really enjoy gambling. In general I guess I have a very low risk threshold, so rather than getting any excitement out of risking money, I just get stress. That said, I do enjoy a good poker game with a group of friends with a low fee (usually a $10 game), and I can normally break even (house rules are first place gets the fee from everyone but second place, who keeps their money). By the time a group of 6 or so gets down to two people, everyone tends to be pretty tired so the games normally end with the person with the smaller cash pile calling it a game. I'm probably net positive from the games, by now, by like 10 or 20.

September 24, 201213 yr Yes, mostly because my friends wanted to go. I don't see the point. Unless you play on poker tables or something like that, anything else will give you a loss. If I wanted to waste money, I would buy a game, eat at a restaurant, go out, etc, things that are actually fun. It's hilarious seeing all the old people on the slot machines though. Good for them if it makes them happy? 2480+ total
September 24, 201213 yr The problem with you guys is that you go for slots...those are loser machines. Poker is where it's at. I've never actually played, since you have to be 21 for the Indian casinos around here and Vegas. But I'd love to go to Vegas and play some Poker. September 24, 201213 yr I did a little gambling when I was last in Vegas. I played a few rounds of blackjack. I was doing alright, got up some but after a few bad hands I quit and broke even. The only problem I had with Vegas is that they have really high minimums at nearly all the tables, which made it very intimidating but also very fun. Is this a survey for a research project? I only ask because that's how this topic came off to me.

September 26, 201213 yr Considering trying to learn how to count cards so that when I'm old enough to gamble I might be able to make a bit of quick cash.I wouldn't bother with any form of actual gambling, though. After working at a convenience store that sells lottery tickets, I've learned that the vast majority of people lose.
September 27, 201213 yr Been twice, and played roulette. It is pretty fun but I only took 20 bucks cash. First time I got up to 45 bucks, then lost it all. Second time I got up to 50 bucks and walked away. So career wise I'm up 10!

October 22, 201213 yr Been to the casino once with some friends. We had some sort of "introduction to the casino" kit, including some playing coins and a drink for roughly 45 dollar (35 euro). I won 60 euro (somewhere around 80 dollar) with that kit, went to a club afterwards and ended up with nothing left haha. You must be at least 18 years old here. liberté toujours
October 23, 201213 yr Once on my 19th birthday and only for about 10 minutes just so I could say I've been to one. I played the slots and didn't even spend $20, I didn't think it was very exciting. Though another time I was in a bar with a friend and his girlfriend and they told me to play the VLTs with them and I ended up winning about $100 which was pretty fun, but it's not something I could do on a regular basis. October 26, 201213 yr Legal age here is 21, but I went to Canada where the legal age is 19 and gambled for a bit. Only did slots and a couple hands of blackjack since the minimum was $10 and I only brought like $30 with me. Lost it all, but whatever, fun enough experience. Probably won't go to another one again unless I got a couple hundred bucks to blow when I turn 21. October 28, 201213 yr Been to a Casino once. Was in Vegas. Ofc i'm gonna go to a Casino then. Wasn't really that much fun. Won about $120 (or well, that's how much i was up when we left). Played a Poker Tournament too, which was the only thing i really enjoyed about the whole gambling experience. I can see myself doing it again sometime. But machines really are terrible boring.
November 30, 201213 yr I have been to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. Wasn't old enough to gamble. I went to foxwoods for a fireworks show and I went to Mohegan Sun for a concert. They are cool places. Have alot of stores and resteraunts in them. Nice to walk around in. (outside of the gambling areas of course.)
